They literally turned around in this storm shelter and started on Sound of Silence at the same recording, this time labeling it The Hound&Fox ft Chance. It's just as beautiful as this.

This is really amazing. Adam Chance who has the perfect voice for this. That in combination with The Hound & The Fox just sounds magnificent. I like it better than the original. But yes the collaboration between them is always great, just like The Sound Of Silence.

The Hound & The Fox & Adam Chance are magical together. The song is so beautiful & sad - I can imagine this played at wakes. Chance is so good! The Hound & the Fox are also in several Home Free videos ("Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer", "Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get it on" among others. There are other duets with Chance.

Nick, this made me even appreciate Chance more than I did before. You can hear that great bass (so gravelly too) at the beginning of this song, This is by far the best arrangement Ie ever heard of this folk classic. Nick, as you know I live on a fixed income and things are kinda tight, but I do have to join the patreon for a month and make a request for a song. Hopefully itĺl be in early May.

I really enjoy "The Hound & The Fox's music. They've done a lot of collaborations with different members of Home Free & other artists. Their voices really suit the older folk style of songs & Chance blends well with them. This is a very old song that has been covered by many famous artists such as Burl Ives, Emmylou Harris & Johnny Cash.

We have a tunnel like this by the house I grew up in! It goes under the highway that’s near my parents house! We’ve sung in it many many times! It has great acoustics!

It’s so good. Chance has a great voice. I love him in I Can’t Outrun You and Helplessly Hoping. He’s done several collaborations with the Hound + Fox. I also like Hurt. The Hound + Fox have also done some songs with Tim too and they have been in some of HF’s videos. Mackenzie does a Kate Bush song Running Up that Hill and she sounds a lot like Kate. Good reaction SD!

This is one of my favorite collabs of theirs! Absolutely gorgeous blending of voices, perfect emotions shining through. You can't go wrong with these super talented musicians, with the addition of hearing Adam's guitar skills as well. I could put this on 10 hr loop and be blissed out the rest of the day. Your 'melted butter' comment is spot-on!

Is it melted butter or smokey whiskey? Either way, this trio is perfect. They have done several other songs together besides Sound of Silence. Check out their eerie original A Whistling Lad, Hurt, or the Wellerman.
