isn't it amazing how when great gifted players and teachers try to pass on their knowledge and experience which is probably the greatest gift a human being can bestow upon others, they are met with such a negative wave of ingratitude. I am talking about all the negative thumb downs. I am honoured to see this man and yet ashamed of my fellow guitarists, their jealousy and ignorance. very sad indeed. Well done to those who appreciated and had respect. Manners and respect.. 2 of the most beautiful things imaginable... along with magnificent teachers like this guy.

I think the reason why there are so many dislikes above is because he never broke out with the "speedy jams," at the end. They're Dissapointed! The truth is that it was an excellent and informative lesson.

Thanks, Adam! This is much more useful than the "here's my way, and it's the only right way" universal teaching method. You cover aspects that no one else is talking about. Thanks for your wisdom, and intelligence beyond guitar playing.

Hey, I just want you to know that I am only 4 minutes in and I am overwhelmed at your gift of teaching. I totally understand every concept and how you iterate it.

It's all about what works for you and what sound you want. Adam also plays classical guitar and holding his hand in this position gives him more tone options. I think this is a great video.

Outstanding description of good right hand tech. Remember as he says, quality first, the speed will come. Bravo!!

I think this instruction was very helpful, clear and to the point. The job of becoming a flamenco guitarist over many years must be done by the student. Segovia said, "Ultimately we are all self-taught," meaning, it's what happens between the lessons that makes the difference.

I had the great fortune of taking a few lessons with Adam years ago before grad school. In fact, I remember this lesson! Looks like he has a ton of great material on the website that he mentions. Time for more lessons!

I learned how to play by ear. So from the brain to the tip of the fingers I have to really focus and unlearn backwards technique. I going to do theses exercises . Thank you for sharing.

Excellent video. Adam is a very good teacher. He always puts the stress on details that are very important when you aim at accuracy and pureness of sound.
