The Beatles’ Abbey Road album was released 50 years ago. In celebration, the BBC put together a live performance of the classic album at Abbey Road Studios. Arturia caught up with keyboardist Adam Dennis who had the honor of playing keyboard instruments at the concert.

I used the choir preset with all voices on as a layer along with a pad to give the final chorus and angelic lift, and it put goosebumps on my arms!

Does it work with Analog Lab or do you need the full thing?

Bruno Neureiter I used the Mellotron as an instance in Pro Tools. I only use Analog Lab for live use, that is what it is best suited for. When using in the DAW, I find better control by having the synths on their own individual instances. It works in Analog Lab fine, but to get the full range out of all of the voices, an instance of Mellotron by itself for this particular preset was more desirable. I’m sure other presets would have been just fine in Analog Lab otherwise.

Hi Adam, i'm looking for the mellotron sound used in Kashmir by Led Zeppelin, also in Storm and thunder by dutch band Earth and Fire and Changes by Black Sabbath. Can you get these sounds aswell?

I bought the Mellotron a few weeks ago. Since the pedal of my synthesizer is used to lengthen the note being played... this isn't working when I use the Mellotron... (only with the Mellotron) Is it a bug in the Mellotron's software or is that intentional?
