The same actors / director / writers / producers made the same comedy shows "Vice Principals" and "Eastbound and Down" - and I think those two are actually way funnier than Righteous Gemstones.
@@BobbyGeneric145 Yeah. Eastbound and Down + The Office(1st time watching it) + Norsemen is probably my favourite tv shows.. King of Queens, Two and a Half men etc could have been good, if they didn't add that annoying laughing track every 20 second.
Bro that's because when people do a press circuit whether it be on the east or west coast they'll do podcasts. They normally get put up around the same time to help promote what they went on to promote.
@@spridle and its been great! I'm presuming it's been because of the strike, but it's awesome having him make full pod episodes and shoot the shit while doing his promotings as apposed to a few minutes on a late night talk show. We all win!
I love this trend of Steve re-inviting guests who've previously been on the pod via video call. Not that I don't enjoy the first ones, the synergy of a group dynamic is harder to capture than just having everyone in the same room.
now we just need blake & kyle on this pod 🙏🤙 i love adam this is such a worlds collide collab that never gets old. loved the danny McBride and righteous gemstones talk.
@@smokinbones1618 i just watched that episode earlier lol. but wym? i got no problem w ders ?? bros funny asf n a dope dude. hes just already been on this pod if youre asking why i left him out
You know what? I'm gonna say it. I watch a LOT of podcasts, and Steve-O's Wild Ride is seriously my absolute favorite out of all of them. Steve-O is a fantastic interviewer; seems like a really solid dude. We've actually briefly met once and he was just the most warm and awesome bro-dude, dude-bro ever. I'm working through ALL of these episodes and this is one of my favorites. Others include Sammy Hagar, Corey Taylor, and Olive Tree; the latter of which is fucking crazy-good. Thank you, Steve-O, for everything you do
The righteous gemstones is probably one of the best comedies in QUITE some time. Especially hits when you grew up and left a super religious background. Season 3 already shaping up to be the best yet. Also here to say can we PLEASE get a Danny McBride episode
31:50 "Is that real, Bam?!" I love how TII guys took the audio drop of Bam's Mom screaming "IS IT REAL!?" when the alligator was in the kitchen and now they just simply say "Is that real, Bam?" FRICKIN' CYA!

When I first seen Adam on workaholics I really didn’t care much for him. But now he’s my absolute favorite person it’s weird how stuff changes. Gonna watch the shit out that new movie.
"The Last Man on Earth" is such a good example of a show that got canceled with so many things unresolved. They know that the way around that is by letting the sequel or each season "stand on it's own" you can't have a cliffhanger of the previous season and then just not answer it.
I did not see the killer with the 12 inch carving knife, air jordans, and white t-shirt leaving the property in a red gt 350 mustang....did not see that ever!🙈🙈🙈🙈 wasn't there dude 😎 was busy watching The Little Mermaid for realsky.....
The cross over between Jackass and Workaholics has to be absolutely massive. Everyone who watched MTV had Comedy Central on the channel return. Although Jackass was years before Workaholics it's still going to hit a massive audience that would be around 30 right now give or take. Maybe you were a little kid who stayed up late and caught some Jackass eps and went into highschool years later and watched Workaholics. That's definitely me except my parents just didn't care what I watched as long as it wasn't creepy or something lol.
Funny story from working on sets: I have been working on film sets for over a decade. On my first set crossing over to theatre which is way different than film this happened: On my first day I was working as an IATSE stagehand on a concert, somebody asked me to help hang the PA. While pacing around I was thinking in my head, Hang a PA!? This is a tough set, don’t you think that’s a little brutal? Like WTF? Is he really that bad at his job? Then I soon realized that they were referring to rigging the “PA” sound system, not actually hanging a PA to death. I was relieved.
Steve-O, I have been waiting to see you in person to tell you that, I am your second biggest fan, 100%. I'm my only fan and sometimes that's too hard to do.
might have been a blessing in disguise that Workaholics didn't get a movie. Not saying I wouldn't have been good, the show is top tier comedy. The show ended so well and had a proper finale.
Steve-O, if you set the cameras to 4k you can crop in without the pixelation or blur on you and the guest. anyways, I think every episode gets better and better. more confidence and relaxed
I’ve had to throw out the bad food, even a bag of sugar, in my house, so I can’t lose control at night. Been hiking or walking most days, so far so good, dropped 2kg in a week. Vocal’s and piano is what I learned through the years. I quit piano at 15 after 9 years. Just voice now (more like a shower singer). Great podcast guys ❤
Is LA River the equivalent to The Torrens River in Adelaide? Full of cars, shopping trolleys and blind mullet’s. Just noticed Scott’s tshirt. I’ve been mispronouncing Adam Devine’s surname. He cracked me up in that office comedy he did
I wish I could talk to Steve. I’ve been struggling with alcoholism, anxiety, depression, drug addiction and eating disorders. Been struggling for 15 years with this. I’ve been through 7 rehabs including rehab while I was in the Navy, which I failed and got kicked out. Im jobless collecting unemployment because I can’t be in public without panic attacks. I wish he could tell me how to want to get sober. Im 35 and my whole life is still ahead of me. I don’t want to die. ❤you guys, just wish I loved myself.
