Farmer wave is also considered the 5 finger wave and instead of sandhiller a lot of people use out in the boondocks or boonies. Also side note who actually uses the word buggy? Having grown up in Kansas and Nebraska with a mom who had spent time in the south, we said both cart and buggy. Buggy is definitely more of a southern term.

Lifelong Nebraskan. Live in Omaha and have family across the state. Have never heard a single person call a shopping cart a buggy. The rest of these seemed more or less accurate, though.

I’m a Nebraskan born and raised, but have never heard anyone call a shopping cart a “buggy”. Runza’s do indeed sound disgusting, but are absolutely delicious! Never called anyone a Sandhiller or ever heard the word doodinkus. The rest are spot on!

I wonder if a person has to live in the sandhills to be familiar with the term. I grew up there and we use it all the time.🙂
