By everyone you mean the CEO's at Disney right because most everyone I Heard from in the media etc had her back actually not much talked about but Disney is in Hot water right now with the Democrats over some of the things they have been doing and that's part of the reason why they losing so much money right now
@@ecoterrorism_liker7251 ...and who's getting all the attention, who is getting interviewed on Hollywood Blvd... it's not the relatable 9-5 workers, it's all either part-time actors talking about how underpaid they are or it's millionaires talking about how underpaid the other people are. I can't stand listening to Hollywood elitists speak for everyone else.
They are doing it for the extras . They’ve already got amazing legal teams and management to make sure that they won’t get screwed anyway. The rich actors really aren’t the enemy. Yes everyone is struggling and it only going to get worse if jobs get replaced by AI . Look at Detroit when the car manufacturing factories went away .but film is a private business it doesn’t affect taxpayers . The film industry supports thousands of small business crewmembers, use, cafes restaurants, and shops . Machine shops. They are literally small economies. If it all gets replaced with AI, it will be a disaster
@@ecoterrorism_liker7251I’m a special effects technician. I’m have no work because of this. But this just might stop me from get replaced by AI . I’ve had tradesmen working on my home, doing home improvements. I use local . Money has to be paid money has to be spent for an economy to be strong. Just remember films make 150 million profit in the first day. These more than enough for everybody to get a piece. And production company still be made an astronomical profit.
Maybe, just maybe because they knew that the big companies would not accept those terms so by being one of the very few who do accept the offer, they now have an advantage by being able to release movies while other big film companies can't release movies. I am 99% sure that if the big companies do sign a deal that works for both parties, the Indie companies will have to withdraw from their original deal. This is something I've read.
Are you referring to Driver? Driver isn't fighting for himself. He's fighting for the actors and artists who aren't household names who really need these unions fighting for them to not have to do 2 side gigs just to pay rent.
@@farhan007you are wrong because SAGAFTRA are a bunch of chomos going a strike to get more defense lawyer money so they can commit their lewd acts on the innocent!
I mean you could negotiate a contract to give your money and the company money to the workers keono does that so do other actors but yet here you are not helping the problem but making more money for the company they will increase ticket price subscription prices to make more to pay for this but yep
