Before spending 5 min talking about location and how disappointed he must have been you should be aware that he literally said in May that he wanted to go CBJ, so if anything he got exactly what he wanted, baffling that the media who get paid to cover this stuff can't even bother doing research.

Fantilli seemed pretty happy with the outcome. Although speaking of Ducks and real estate......back in 1994, Anaheim drafted Oleg Tverdovsky 2nd overall. He had a good rookie year and figured he'd be a mainstay for the next decade, so he buys a house in Anaheim. Then he gets traded to Winnipeg for Teemu Selanne in early 1996. Winnipeg relocates to Phoenix a few months later. After a couple seasons with the Coyotes, Tverdovsky figures it's time to sell his house in Anaheim and puts it up for sale. And then at the 1999 Draft, he ends up being traded back to the Ducks. As I understand it, he hadn't sold the house at that point. But it is humorous to picture him packing things up.

The Ducks will regret not choosing Adam Fantilli.

There’s purpose and focus to CBJ and a great roster of young players..players like Columbus..playing with Gaudreau and Laine..there’s more there in near future. Anaheim is likely got a young party time in this rebuild phase..which wears thin for some prospects looking to be a part of postseason run time.

Already established young up and coming budding allstar level players in Terry Zegras McTavish Drysdale. 4 young stud D men coming up including the Defense man of the yr from all 3 Major Jr leagues THIS PAST SEASON, Leo Carlson soon and today getting Killorn also. They ain't winning the cup in the next couple seasons but they have what it takes to challenge for a playoff spot for sure in the next couple seasons and getting in gives you a shot. Top 3 rated farm system for 3-4 seasons now apparently means nothing in the pipeline lol. Light years?!! East coast (canadian) bias stupidty.

Fantilli is certainly more eye catching with his drive and tenacity but Carlsson is the better playmaker, with higher upside offensively. Ducks made the right choice for them.

Why would he buy a place in south cali before even getting drafted? unless Anaheim told him they were drafting him, it's not like he is Bedard and everyone knew where he was going. there were mock drafts that had Carlsson going number two. I love the show but wow sometimes you guys just need to fill air time I guess.
