Adam Goes to Hospital  

Adam is registered with HUKM (Hospital UNIVERSITI Kebangsaan Malaysia) Teenage Psychiatric Department. They monitor his progress and responsible for his prescriptions.
Many have asked if Adam is on any medication. The answer is yes. After many trial and errors over the years, we felt that our son is at his best when we combine modern meds and holistic approach. Integrating the best of both worlds have proven to be fruitful.
Nevertheless we always attempt to minimize his meds, giving him just enough and not over relying on them with the hope that one day he can be less dependent on them. Took us years to find that perfect balance and dosage, let alone the type of meds that best suits him.
And we are able to do this because Adam is registered with the hospital. Adam was diagnosed at HUKM Child Development Center when he was 2 and half years old. The hospital has a record of his progress since.
It’s important to have your child diagnosed properly and to be registered with the local government hospital. It will save you much if your child needs medication. Some of these prescriptions can cost a bomb if you were to go to a private doctor (in Malaysia).
