Haa, never fails to get me welled up inside seeing a new life starting on the farm. Twas the same when I used to sit up half the night on a deck chair in the barn waiting for our ewes to give birth by torch light. Must be my weakness 😭 Brilliant filming and well done to the mum 👍👍👍

As a shepherd I get to be with my sheep all day every day of the week, check on the chickens, make sure the bees are content before feeding and freshening the bunnies and I still find myself rushing a bit at the end of the day each Friday to see what Fran has in store! Cheers for a great job…I’m sure you have many hopes and plans for your life but if you stay at the farm and bring us all informative and pleasant videos each week that would be fine as well!

Do highlands alwayhavesuch large teats? She looks right engorged. Thanks for the video. Wish we hada farm like yours herein the US. Kids an general public need to see more farming.

You're right, she had particularly enlarged teats and we had to take Valerie in to be hand fed as she couldn't suckle. It is somewhat common in cows, although not ideal and farmers will usually try to breed it out. We couldn't agree with you more! Education about livestock, field to fork and such is vitally important!
