it is because of people like Adam Lambert that people like me, age 70, are still learning daily and broadening our minds and accepting those who were and still are by many, considered "out of the box" - I thoroughly enjoyed this video and so appreciate the opportunity to do so ---- thank you Adam Lambert, as Brian May says, you're a gift from God in more ways than one
Good to see talking these kind of issues. Internet made us no boundaries.... 10,000 miles far away but still there's possibilities. Greetings from Nagaland.
"Aftermath" carried me through my coming-out process as a nonbinary person and still does, I'm so glad to see Adam caring and listening to us like this
This is fantastic, not only for those participating in it, but the rest of us, especially those of us not a part of the LGBTQ community. We all need to learn and to understand. Kudos to all the young men and women who participated.
This was amazing! So happy to hear from some of the kids themselves, who were all very eloquent. Good luck on reaching the fundraising goal, I wish the center and all involved continued success in all their wonderful work! And so proud to be a fan of Adam Lambert for helping trans kids!
I have been an Adam Lambert fan since American Idol, and I totally love his voice, art and compassion, Thank you for doing this for folks like us, Adam
We really needed to see something like this dear pharoah Adam Lambert . From the bottom of our hearts a special glitter covered thank you to you. You are the best role model for the LGBTQ +community and we're so proud to say that we're members of the Glamily family 💕👑☥💕💕💕 #Glambert girls forever and always 💕💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you all for sharing your experiences! I appreciate you and your willingness to encourage so many other people on a similar journey! I am the proud mom of a trans child and a nb child. It means so much that you've all chosen to do this video. "Gay people are just nicer." As a cis person, even I agree! 💙💗💟💗💙
I’d love to see more of these. Great questions Adam, and these kids are inspiring. I’m older, 30, and struggling with figuring out my gender identity and gender expression, and while I’m not trans, this has been educational for me personally as someone not “normal” and how to support the trans people in my life better.
I have supported and loved my friends LGBTQ friends from the 80s to today. I have lost a dear friend to AIDS and have brought friends and employees into my home as they struggled with their families accepting them. My granddaughter is struggling with her identity. Our family is here for her as she goes through her life journey. Her boyfriend is going through his gender journey and his family dies acknowledge him as "he/him" as he decides where his journey will go. We will be there for him and my granddaughter as they go through journey. Thank you for sharing with us.
🍁Hello!! Adam is very very beautiful person!! I adore Adam!! How wonderfully Adam sing!! Nice to see and listen!! Oh,yes!! Greetings from Lithuania!!!🍁🍂🇱🇹🍂🍁2020 october.
@Isaiah Joel I'm not someone who likes the thought of this shit being forced on kids, I also don't care enough to rewatch the video in any case, but as far as I can tell they're all at least 17-18. They can make their own choices then. Last thing, there is no god, and you have no idea what his way would be even if he existed.
Tenho aprendido muito usando a internet nessa pandemia. Não conhecia tanto o Adam Lambert agora me sinto amiga íntima. Aprendi muito com a personalidade desse menino. Que menino do coração imenso.
As someone who lives in an ultra-conservative, transphobic, queerphobic part of AZ and will soon be moving to Ohio, I needed this. I'm NB but present as female due to expectation, and I feel no need to alter my body. I feel invalidated a lot because I get people telling me I'm just female and want attention or that you can't be NB and present feminine. I'm also ace and demiromantic\panromatic\aromantic (I still haven't figured it out entirely yet) so I get told a lot that I just have hormone problems, even though I don't. This video means a lot to us who can't be out or who face invalidation. We need more support and education on gender and what it means to be trans or NB. It makes me unbelievably happy to see places that exist and movements that exist purely to provide these things that we need that aren't readily available to the community. 💗🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤
I'm crazy surprised. I'm here because I fell in love with a song of his, which made me wanna subscribe (that doesn't happen too often with songs haha). I'm trans and gay, and I'm downright baffled to find a video like this on his channel, how likely is that 😂 Very cool
I love each of you. I wish you the best and pray for each of you to have a fabulous journey while transitioning. Love and peace. I am watching this video for more understanding of gender and trans people.. I am 64 years old straight female. I grew up in the sixties and seventies and I have seen gay bashing and survived homophobia despite my parents views. I was raised to believe this is not God's way. Please enlighten yourselves to know that God loves you. There is enough fear in life in life and God is love, relax on that and don't think for a moment that he doesn't have you. Enough religion! Lol, what can I do to help kids? They need to know that someone cares enough to listen. Oh Adam it is sweet of you to help ppl.
I'm so embarrassed I didn't know what HRT is. Adam Lambert brought me here. I grew up with a father who runs a "conversion camp" with our church, that they think they can change gay men and make them straight. I love my father, but it's so hard because I can't accept what he's doing. i found a different church. But you'd be surprised at how big these "churches" are
Eres brutal, tú como persona, tus pensamientos y tu grande y maravillosa música qué me ayuda muchisimo con mi enfermedad. Millones de besos desde España Adam Lambert🌷🌷🌷🌷
I know this is the wrong video to comment this on Adam. (I'm not transgender, but I feel like a pan sexual) But I'm just trying to find a way to improve my vocals so that I can tell my story in the future via vocals and instruments in general. My vocal range is already around D2-D6, but I'm trying to increase chest vocal range after which I can improve my head voice, and then my mixed voice. You're a great talent, and a handsome talent (irrelevant), can you tell me about your own chest exercises that you use to increase your chest voice?
I'm a trans guy. I want to video chat with Adam! Come in Indiana...or lets do a google meet or something. Also I just did a drag lipsync to Velvet. I'm loving the new sound.
Gay people are just nicer LMAO. My favorite part was when a participant said something to the affect of that the greatest myth about being trans was that the trans person hated their body and all their body parts all the time and in reality it is the same like for everyone else.... Do not compare yourself to others and consider your body an evolving work of progress. That was a great take-away I didn't realize despite being pan sexual/romantic and having had a slew of trans roommates. Y'all have fun trick or treating down in San Diego ya hear? xox
" Critics of the more fanatical aspects of the transgender movement believe that one day, when the physical ramifications of this strange episode in history causes some people to experience regret, a flurry of lawsuits will follow; doctors, physicians, and therapists will be sued for prescribing radical forms of treatment for minors." - Joseph Sciambra
Acceptance and awareness of gender transition is one thing but encouraging /not speaking out against young kids who are permanently changing their bodies through surgery is a whole another situation. Many come to regret their decision because you can’t undo it. It’s not right.
I can't believe I'm saying this, I've been a fan of Adam Lambert since 2009, but now I cannot support this. And, no Adam, I don't have problems with myself. I don't believe that this should be spoon fed to K-12 students.
