hearing adam live just solidifies how talented he is. he doesn't need anything to make him sound beautiful, he just does. i can't wait to see him live again for this exact reason :)
Story time: I was at a restaurant with my family a few weeks after dodies tour. I was taking about you, Dodie and Orla, and getting to see you live, and my dad asks "Who's Adam Melchor?" To which my mom respond: "A cute Jewish musician boy" 😂 Great video, your music is absolutely beautiful!! ( I don't wanna see you crying anymore is my favorite song by you btw!!)
I don't wanna see you cryin' anymore I don't wanna be the reason you can't trust me like before My head's in my hands as I'm shaking on the bathroom floor I don't wanna see you cryin' anymore I don't wanna see you cryin' anymore I just wanna be the reason you can smile til you're sore Unless it's something beautiful or joy you can't control I don't wanna you see cryin' anymore Are my mistakes worth the toll that it takes I can see it written on your face You've seen me make every mask I create To keep you out until it's just too late I've made a mess like I've never cleaned before I don't wanna see you cryin' anymore I don't wanna see you cryin' anymore I don't need to play the game with you Cause there's no keeping score But if you don't think you'll win with me I'll chalk it up as a loss 'Cause I don't wanna see you cryin' anymore Are my mistakes worth the toll that it takes I can see it written on your face You've seen me make every mask I create To keep you out until it's just too late I've made a mess like I've never cleaned before I don't wanna see you cryin' anymore I don't wanna see you cryin' anymore I don't wanna see you cryin' anymore
I find a comfort in this sadness, pain and hurt.. even when I feel so alone and broken this song smells like a friend, a home, a safe haven I can stay at until Im done crying. You're so talented, I'm in love with your voice, music and lyrics.
I've been learning this one on guitar today. I love learning your songs, even if I never perform them. Maybe someday at an open mic. Looking forward to seeing you again in Nashville.
