I get such a kick out of it when TV stations weren't prepared for Broadway singers. Those two NAILED IT and projected like crazy, and you can hear the changes in the sound as the sound guys are freaking out. "WTF how the hell are they so LOUD?" XD
The fact that they sing it the EXACT same way as on the movie is impressive because so many people sound different in person but then again Broadway so nvm
It's hard to listen other Rodgers and marks sing this song because no actors who have played these roles have voices that compliment each so well like Adams and Anthony's
Can't believe this was almost 17 years ago. Time flies so fast. It's insane. It felt almost like it was only a couple of years ago that I was first exposed to Rent through the film adaptation.
I always thought it was cute how Idina went up to Taye and acted all cute but then recently I found out that they were married, & now it makes more sense
I have a friend who listened to this and her reaction was "Har-har-harmony. The harmony!" Which is essentially what this is. I seriously think these two voices are so wonderful together. Apparently she thinks so too.
I love how much Anthony Rapp's voice and stage presence has matured over the last 15 years. He is such an amazing performer and singer. I had the pleasure of meeting him recently and I hope to meet him again some day.
This song should be done so much more! Seasons of love and Finale B, although both beautiful and meaningful, seem WAY overdone. Nice to hear a really nice change of pace. Their voices have only gotten better with time :D
That was adorable when Adam sang to Rosario. You can tell she just loved it. :) I just saw Rent live, Anthony and Adam never EVER get this song wrong, it's amazing.
These two together are magical - but the post processing caused the movie tracks to sound horrid (especially for Adam). This is like the OBC recording - pure and perfect.
Man, I can never accept anyone else in the roles of Mark and Roger. When I saw the tour two years ago, it was jarring to hear someone other than these two singing. Love them and can't wait to see them when they go on tour next year!!

This is awesome... I love that they are just singing all-out and not caring whether they are sharp or flat. I'm a singer, and I know that takes some serious guts.
Their voices go together so perfectly! It gives me shivers! I love how the different versions of "What You Own" always sound rehearsed, but not like perfect duplicates of the studio version. Thank god for theater!
I love "What You Own". Great addition to my soundtrack for both workout and running in a race. I love the sense of freedom as I live in the Philippines, on the opposite of the world, we consume such cool media.

I LOVE both of them and I'm so glad that they played their characters in the movie, instead of someone else, even Neil Patrick Harria. Anthony Rapp will always be Mark and Adam will always be Roger.
