As someone one who’s used both Adam’s and pure magic. Pure Magic is by far the best I’ve used hands down no question, I hardly have to agitate my wheels. Once I run through the gallon of Adam’s I bought months ago I’ll be buying a gallon of pure magic🤩. Can’t wait for that new soap to ship out! #cutomerforlife

More uses for my Pure Magic Cleaner, yay! Temp was too hot to use in my last wash to try to remove water spots from my glass. My favorite wheel cleaner has been Meguiar's Wheel Brightener. I've been using it for years. Could tell the difference the very first time I used it. It easily removed the dirt buildup from in between the tight spokes of my wheels, which were a pain to clean. Please share other uses!

How do I apply ur products to maximize performance since us non homeowners don’t have access to certain things u take for granted , Thanks for a reply or video !!! Missing a huge untapped market 🤷

Yeah, you really want to be careful cleaning anodized or polished aluminum wheels. I used the wrong cleaner on one wheel of a set of polished aluminum American Racing wheels on one of my cars, it turned milky white immediately. I thought I ruined it, I was able to polish it out but it took some work.

Koch Chemie Magic Wheel Cleaner is my go-to for neglected wheels. Cleans like an acid and provides a nearly touchless clean, but has a fairly neutral pH of 5.5 and is safe on a wide variety of wheel types and is not as bad for your body. As a rule, I stay away from any kind of strong acid that could be harmful to my health. The time savings aren't worth it, and I would rather put in the extra effort to agitate a safer pH neutral or alkaline product than put my body at risk. Can you talk sometime about the safety of the Ammonium Biflouride in Pure Magic Cleaner? I've read that it can be as damaging as HFA (though I'm not sure at what concentration). Obviously gloves and eye protection are necessary, but what about incidental inhalation or skin contact (uncovered arms/legs)?
@autodetailingpodcast
@autodetailingpodcast 23 дня назад
Glad you asked so I can clear it up a bit: Jimbo's Pure Magic Cleaner is formulated with a focus on safety and efficacy. The primary components of the cleaner include Citric Acid, non-ionic surfactants, Glycol Ethers, and a small amount of Ammonium Bifluoride (ABF) used as a booster. However, in its ready-to-use form, the concentration of ABF is reduced to less than 1%, ensuring even greater safety for users. Addressing Safety Concerns Concentration of Ammonium Bifluoride (ABF): Very Low Concentration: In the ready-to-use form, the formula contains less than 1% ABF. This significantly minimizes the risks associated with fluorides. Role of ABF: ABF acts as a booster to enhance cleaning performance without making the product excessively harsh or dangerous. Citric Acid as the Major Solid: Mild Acidic Nature: Citric Acid is a weak organic acid that provides effective cleaning while being safer for use on various surfaces and posing minimal health risks. Glycol Ethers and Non-Ionic Surfactant Blend: Surfactants: The non-ionic surfactant blend is selected for its ability to emulsify oils and remove dirt without causing irritation or significant harm. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Handling Gloves and Eye Protection: Always wear gloves and eye protection when handling cleaning products, including Jimbo's Pure Magic Cleaner, to prevent direct contact with the skin and eyes. Inhalation and Skin Contact: While the concentration of ABF is very low in the ready-to-use form, it is still advisable to avoid inhaling the product mist and to cover exposed skin (arms and legs) during use to prevent irritation. Comparisons to Hydrofluoric Acid (HFA) Less Harmful: ABF, at the concentration used in this product, is less hazardous than Hydrofluoric Acid (HFA). HFA is known for its severe toxicity and corrosive nature, whereas ABF at low concentrations offers effective cleaning with reduced health risks.

Once again, I unfortunately have to disagree with you. Your statement that „ANY“ wheel cleaner with a reactive / colour changing ingredient in it does not clean well is just factually wrong. Just because something is not available in the US doesn‘t mean it doesn‘t exist. Try for example the Dr. Wack P21S High-End Wheel Cleaner. Also, if your acidic wheel cleaner does that to the rotors, what does it do to other non-cleaecoated parts on the car (wheel nuts, suspension parts)?
@autodetailingpodcast
@autodetailingpodcast 25 дней назад
I see your point. I should have added that I technically haven’t used every color changing product in the world. All wheel cleaners have the opportunity to degrade surrounding areas. Not just acidic ones, plus don’t you think manufactures account for this?

This demonstration is flawed. Acid cleaners are indeed the best for brake dust, whereas alkaline cleaners are the preferred choice for grime and tire cleaning - a task for which acidic cleaners are only mediocre. So if you have a really dirty wheel, you would still need to use an alkaline wheel cleaner to clean the tire properly. Also, when reviewing a product from one's own product line, it's hardly going to be strictly objective - not in the sense that what is shown is false, but that you can choose the setting for which your own product will do best (only brake-dust issue, not focus on tire cleaning performance, possibility to highlight where the other products didn't do well etc.)

@@autodetailingpodcast I think you have a great channel, my point is just that reviewing one's own products is bound to be biased. You can call me a sceptic, but I don't find it credible that you would actually show it if your own product brand came out inferior to some of the other brands.
