Pressley - the RU-vidr formerly known as Vesylum I’d say it has. Award season has the strongest competition I’ve seen in a while. It’s hard to pick a favorite movie this years bc there’s so many good ones.
I’m glad Sandler name dropped The Meyerowitz Stories, it’s underrated, and he’s really great in it. It’s a performance from him that somehow flew under the radar, but he’s really good!
@@jacksonabernathy4211 Learn to capitalize and punctuate your sentences, you God darn moron. And please be respectful. Also, I'm not sure what's misspelled in that sentence, are you taking umbrage with the use of the nickname, Sand man? Nothing in the sentence you're responding to is spelled incorrectly, yet your sentence has at least 3 errors, 3 more than his. Sorry, 'Every1Talks', but I felt bad that this guy left a nasty comment. Hope you see Uncut Gems, it's great!
It's pretty crazy the amount of good actors who have come out of the comedy world. Tom Hanks, Jim Carrey, Michael Keaton, Robin Williams, John Travolta (yeah he's made some stinkers, but Sat Night Fever, Blow Out, and Pulp Fiction are all brilliant performances), even Chris Tucker put in a pretty low-key great performance in Silver Linings Playbook, and Dice Clay killed it in Blue Jasmine. I'm absolutely convinced that because comedians are masters of timing, they can easily transfer that skill to drama and it can work. Most recently I was impressed with Sebastian Maniscalco in The Irishman. His part was small, but he played it really well. I'd love to see him in more roles like that. I've heard great things about Melissa McCarthy's role in that drama she was in recently (can't recall the title).
I wish Sandler would try his hand at an R rated type comedy or a dramedy type movie with Chris Rock. I think that’s where Sandler’s movies have started to fail, they’re way too kid/family oriented.
Maybe not, he’s good but, Bogart is going down!!!! You are top of my gen but Tokyo Joe is the man, Sandmam!!! Haha!! Always awesome when Adam is in the Dojo.
@@childhoodisthatyou9869 Like the movies or not...they just documented he is the top grossing box office draw at over 2 billion in ticket sales. He's a comedian hopefully in the tradition of Robin Williams...who successfully made the leap to dramatic acting. We'll see.
