Here are parts of Adam's workshop that most people don't know exist! Adam takes you on a tour of the cave's loft spaces, where he is reorganizing his workshop storage and many projects in progress. It's full of gear, materials, and interesting artifacts from Adam's shows and builds, all hidden away above the parts of the cave you've seen in Tested videos. Let's climb up the steep ladder staircase and explore this space--watch out for the low ceiling!

The coolest thing is that each one of these items, bins, or boxes has a story behind it and the value isn't necessarily in the object itself, but the experience or narrative that goes along with each of these builds. Such a neat place. Thanks for sharing.

Alternate title: Adam tries to justify his hoarding behavior. Jokes aside though it must be great to have rapid access to so many tools and so much material. Nothing kills the creative flow as much as having to go out to get a few stray materials. Love the shop and am looking forward to seeing it more organized. Wonder if we could get a tour of the deep storage though... there must be some hidden wealth of things there.

I feel that watching Adam working in his shop is the closest I can get to my passion. I studied architecture and the part I loved the most about archi school is the process of physically making stuff, spending time sourcing for materials, planning the build and of course time in the machine lab. Having worked in a corporate setting for a while now I really missed all of that - ironically, everything seems so arbitrary and empty in the world of big buildings and projects. Unfortunately, DIY and making stuff in general isnt really popular in my country, there are only handful of maker space which makes them rather expensive and exclusive. My goal is to have my own practice some day and a small workspace where I start rediscovering those joys, but for now I'll just continue to indulge in all the one day builds on here!

I think one of the first improvements would probably be new stairs. If the main loft is to become a raw materials store, you probably want to access it on a regular basis and move stuff constantly up and down. Might be worth the while to work up good stairs. Also, good head bumper spaces. That looks like an "Ouch" space.

You8 could possibly put some netting on top of the loft in one section of the to store the foam to get it out of the way and give you some more floor space.

Thanks for showing Maggie, when you mentioned that she had arrived I was wondering if you'd show her to us. You can't say you have dogs and not show them. It's like social protocol, right? Hahaha! Great video, Adam. As a person with OCD it made me a little bit anxious, but I also have the mentality of not throwing out things I might need later, so it's all good.
