I love EVERY character in parks, but i have a special place in my heart for Ben Wyatt... Idk why, but he's one of my favorite characters in TV history lol

I think him essentially replacing the Mark character, along with bringing in Rob Lowe, definitely saved that show.

Man, such a humble down-to-earth guy speaking of his shortcomings right off the bat, just shedding all that celebrity status in and yet talking of being persistent and building his way to be a better actor. Now see where it got him! WHAT A lead character in the latest mind-bending thriller Severance. Anyone reading this comment who hasn't checked it out yet, PLEASE go watch it! It's worth the time spent, the layers to the writing is extraordinary and I CANNOT wait for what's in store.

it's interesting, I guess since he's not acting, his mouth actually moves differently when he pronounces words...srsly in parks and rec you can tell he's keeping his lips a certain way

Emily Houghteling yeah, john's talked about how he was so close to not getting the role because Adam Scott seemed a perfect fit, but he did get the role in the end.

It's also how he got the role of Ben Wyatt on Parks and Rec, because Mike Schur (producer on The Office and creator of Parks and Rec) contacted him and asked him if he wanted the role.
