Not related, but I think Spring Break of 1899 is about the... Protagonist? Dying of alcohol poisoning/ murder. He can't feel his fingers or his toes? He can't feel is left leg, his mind is telling him to pick up and go, but he can't move, or open his eyes? He says there's a warmth and a light, that could he him in hell/ being cremated. Its only the girl the protagonist picks up that tells him to go outside/ back to a hotel room. Awesome stuff!
