It was a challenging weekend for us at RedBud. It happens though. This stuff is still fun even when it doesn't go our way. Head down and we'll try again at Southwick this weekend! Filmed/Edited: @derek_quinones
All us in the friend group been messing with him saying he choked on a once in a life time opportunity lmao. Maybe AC will let us get another spot on the vlog next year??? 😂
You staying out there and finishing knowing you weren't going to get points speaks volumes about you. Many others, with names bigger and smaller than yours, would have pulled off knowing that staying out wouldn't get them anything. But you sticking it out... classy. Kit and bike looked awesome, and you'll rebound next weekend. Good luck and stay healthy out there!
Adam, praying for your arm to be healed. Best sports blog I have found. Thanks for sharing your world in such an honest and straight forward manner. God has a plan for each of us, and trials and tribulations are always there to make us a better person.
Wise words at the end. You can go from the top to the bottom. It doesn't mean you will stay at the bottom but when you make it to the top at the next one it will be that much sweeter. Keep it up!!
Keep up the great work on the VLOG AC, you're a good role model! You have a great head on your shoulders and great output on everything. I tell my wife and kids all the time, control what you can control and move on from the rest. Like you said, don't forget it or not care about it; but annotate and move on to be better next time. Your dreams and goals will come to fruition as you keep putting in that work.
Thanks for sharing this with us, Adam. As someone who was an athlete for 20 years all I can tell you is to enjoy every moment of the journey. Win or lose, as long as you can go to bed knowing you did your best, that's all you can do. Rest easy that you gave 100%. I have neuropathy in my right arm from 20 years of pro wrestling, so I totally understand what's happening with your arm, and yeah, it does suck! Good luck, bro!
We traveled to Redbud from south Texas. Best experience of my life! We cheered you on every single lap and I think my friends daughter has a crush on you now! I’ve been watching you since you were on the tiny bikes and you sir, are a true ambassador of the sport.

I wish I could of been there. Live 3 hours away, but oh well. Hopefully Supercross comes back to Detroit. Other than that, keep killing it out there AC! Not the way anyone wants to finish, but I know you’ll bounce back next race!
Keep doing you brotha!! You seem to have a good grip on what is important in life and what not to worry about. Keep you attitude about life and keep doing you!!
21:45 until the end of the video is the attitude of a champion Adam. As you know...”Attitude... 10% of what happens to me and and 90% of how I react to it. You are IN CHARGE of your attitude”. It’s coming and it’s coming soon brother!

Cool your taking time out for the fans, Dean finally made the video 👍 go into the next round like Elsa's coming into Florida but as a southwick Hurricane. cool retro gear to continued racing success remember you belong AC 🏁🏆
I know your pain. I was racing back in the 80s and had a compound fracture of the right elbow for the second time which caused nerve damage to my right arm. Consequently this affected my hand so bad that I couldn't even make a fist, let alone hold on to the throttle grip. That was it.... my racing career was over . It took 5 plus year's before I had full use of my hand. I spent every other day in the gym trying to regain the strength in that arm and ended up being a British bodybuilding champion instead. 🏆 Medical treatment has come on a long way and advances in recovery and repair are far superior now. I'm sure that eventually you will get it sorted......Best of luck buddy, you've got a great talent for riding mx 👏
Bro I also have some nerve damage in my left hand but mines more like 90% percent good, it sucks and it’s annoying but we are all still rooting for you, get well soon!
1st or 23rd still enjoy watching the vlog and race. Most definitely liked the bike 🇺🇸 👍🏼 If forkner finds his missing gear, would could maybe have team green representing the 🇺🇸..
17:16 - Coop looking like the drunk uncle waking up at 2:45 in the afternoon at a family outing after smashing a case the night before not knowing wtf is going on.
I feel your pain with nerve issues my throttle hand goes completely numb while riding I've delt with it for 10 years. Even keeps me up at night because it's a like a weird numb/burning feeling. Keep up with the positive attitude it will bring great things.
Adam I hear you on the right hand stuff. Shattered my right wrist casing a jump in mid April. Got a plate and screws in there and am currently at around 11 weeks post op. Ortho said it was on the extreme end of serious breaks he's seen and at 47 years of age things are a little slow to heal. I too have limited grip strength (around 30-50%) and maybe 40% of my original range of motion (flexion/extension). I have been riding with a brace but being on the bike is rough as the wrist burns constantly while riding, BUT it does force me to really focus on proper technique. I'm WAY more conscious of what my feet and legs are doing since I can't tolerate gripping too hard with my hand lol. The freaky part is when the brain to hand connection seems to get broken and the brain tries but the hand just doesn't respond as the brain would expect. Makes me apprehensive to try the obstacles or push really for fear of my hand getting blown off the grip. There's also the concern of getting into a sketchy situation and being unable to muscle the bike...lol. The fact you guys ride at that level with these types of injuries (and worst) gets my respect! I appreciate the vlog Adam and love seeing the human side of how you guys spend your time in the pits.
You have Been one of my favorite riders sents you came back to 250s after you got hurt. You are the number 1 rider, if only you could keep it on 2 wheels. Your just to fast for your own good. Brraaaaapppppp
Your awesome bro. This weekend was just one song on a Blink 182 album...not the best...not the worst...but there is still those awesome ones that you have to look forward to. It is coming man...it is inevitable.
Props for pushing through the hand issue! I have the same issue,I lose strength in my throttle hand and it’s sketchy going off jumps with a week grip! And sometimes it goes numb too which sucks!,not sure if it’s blood flow or a nerve issue ,if you figure it out let me know! Haha Keep pushing brother! You definitely rip!
