You know, he says "I'm not good at anything else in this world, except for music" but to me, that can't be further from the truth. Maybe he was just being humble (as he always is), but Adam, do you have any idea how many lives you have changed not only because of your music, but because of your fun-loving, God-loving personality? You are truly a gem. If people would only look beyond their physical talents/abilities and dig deeper into who you are as a person, most will find some sort of gift. Whether that be your great personality, sense of humor, or just being plain nice (which seems to be less prevalent in today's society by the minute). Never underestimate yourselves, everyone. Also, Adam, you're amazing ;)
I spent that concert crying the whole time, I have never felt so blessed in my life than to see him live that night...I remember because of the moose hat, when he was singing "The Yacht Club", instead of saying 'caterpillar concert hall', he sang 'caterpillar concert moose', it made the night all the more special...Possibly the best night of my life
This man is a Gift from God. Such a wonderful man who, not only knows his place in this world, but wants to reach out to the world around him and change it for the better. He wants to share the Gifts God gave him with the world, and he wants to inspire others to show the world who they are. He is truly the Angel.

I always cry when I watch this. He's truly inspirational and talented, and he deserves to be on that stage - on any stage. He inspires me to never give up. If Adam can reach his dream, well, maybe I can too.
This guys music literally saved me from suicide. I was 12 and my boyfriend went toxic, my parents scared the hell out of me, I had no friends, until I decided to listen to music. I came across fireflies and that ended up being my comfort song until I discovered so many other songs and that was the biggest comfort I ever had. That was only about a year ago. I look up to Adam and I’m starting to get into music because it makes me happy and because he inspired me. I wish to meet him one day even though I might cry
"I am not really a musician"; but you wrote music for over 20 side projects and not to mention sang for a couple of them! You are not just a musician, you are one of the best!
Owatonna ain't that small of a town. I live not too far from Owatonna, MN. He is a great guy though. My sister's college roommate knows Adam and his band. They grew up together. It's awesome to see someone from my state of Minnesota become a great music artist, and it makes me even more proud that he doesn't sing about drugs and other crap that other artists sing about!
You must feel even more awesome n think him as a pride of your state that his music has spread over so far that he has become a music idol for many Asians like me....

This show was so great but I wish I had gotten there earlier because I was way off to the side but this was such a sweet speech. He has never taken his success for granted and always gives credit to our Savior.
Just...Wow. In these few minutes you can really feel the emotion of how awesome is Adam performing... I SWEAR that I will find a way to go to an Owl City concert and hug this guy before I die. In someway, we both do the same thing in different ways. We save lives.

Most amazing concert I ever went to... :') I got teary eyed hearing his speech. You don't see people like him very much, but when you do it flips your world completely upside-down. What an amazing, talented, gifted man of God. This man has changed my life.
There's just something so deep about Adam and his music that I've only had the privilege to see a few times in my life. I hope he keeps doing what he loves to do.

Wow. I'm not a super-emotional person when it comes to RU-vid videos (no matter what) but this made me tear up. Adam's finding his path really helped me find mine and he keeps me dreaming and loving life musically. I still remember hearing Ocean Eyes two years ago this month and thinking it was the most profound thing and now I listen to Meteor Shower every night before I go to sleep... Owl City changed my life for the much better, however you spin it. We love you too Adam!
OMG! I was starting to get emotional, too! I know what he means. He's so talented and so nice...I am glad all this success came to him and made his dreams come true...because he has managed to make so many people, including me, a whole lot happier in their lives through his music! and thanks to his wonderful band/crew as well..they are all so talented, too! Keep believing :) I'm 18 and my faith has been challened but if you hold on God will get you through ANYTHING and everything. I have been through severe OCD, hospitalized once, major depression, broken hearted more times than I can count, the list goes on...but the list of goodness and hope is even greater! It's videos like these that made me scared to go to concerts. Not what he said, or anything about him at all, but the other people "singing" (sounding like dying frogs, sorry) and screaming. Fortunately, I did go to my first concert recently, one of his, and it was loud enough to drown out everybody, so yay!
Ever since Sky Sailing (his first band) ive just been following him, ive got all of his albums, I know every song of the top of my head, the lyrics to those songs. A big portion of his covers and as of right now my favorites are Vanilla Twilight, Deer in the Headlights, Cinematic, House Wren, and his PS4 exclusive song he did called Clap Your Hands.
