What up Gamers! Today is the fourth episode of our series we called What's On Our Table where we talk a little about the games we are currently playing, recently played, will be reviewing, or have reviewed. We also discuss the genre of that game as a whole in an unscripted style. We share our experiences playing the type of game that is in front of us as well as some of our own personal experiences with them. This episodes is dedicated to Games based on other Intellectual Properties or IP. We have a lot of them in our collection and we wanted to discuss what makes a great adaptation.

Talking about IP and I post this about halfway through the video, I noticed two games from the same IP that I think fit either end of the spectrum - Star Trek Panic is an amazing game, that fits the IP well, but Star Trek Catan is just the name slapped on. I think Star Trek Ascendancy is an amazing tabletop game. I found the new Aliens game really feels like the movie, but it doesn't have the replay value, that others might have. Five miniute Marvel is brilliant. I would say that the Marvel United game from CMON is actually a fun game as well. Personally, I'd love the see fewer IP games.. but that is just because I think there are SO many creative individuals, and I'd prefer to have people get to show their ideas, rather than just using an IP.

We do love our IP games and sometimes they can lead to great ones that being said it does feel like there may be to many IP games coming out lately as we everyone goes IP Mad
