The cloud seeding in Dubai is true. I used to live there & my friends brother was a seeding pilot. The technology is pretty common & was started by China. Though China uses it only for irrigation. But excessive cloud seeding in Dubai caused a mini-hurricane in Abu Dhabi, a few years ago. Since then they do it in a controlled manner.
