@@jayandgem It's more like they dated the 10th best looking date but had dead dick. Massive underachievements. They all had an excuse why they didn't win. Atos, Alliance, Checkmat, GF, Nova União, Cicero Costha & Keenan's Legion are where you'll get the best in both gi and no gi. Gracie JJ is a cult IMO...no bueno.

John Danaher Death Squad dominated the tournament though.

Yeah I agree,I changed from Renzo Gracie to an Alliance affiliate after I got my purple and now starting at brown I'm on another level. Too many drills and techniques running half the class at the old Gracie gym, and they have a pretty strict belt by belt program system for all their schools. Now at this gym we do 3 drills to warm-up then 4 rounds of 5 mins each with optional rest round. PURE DEATH..but I can go for days now not confused with 100 techniques in my head. Each day different position------ No one in the world is gonna beat a non DDS athlete at no-gi for freakin' decades lol. Its beautiful insanity although they treat Danaher a little too much like a cult leader at times. But his jits system is almost perfect in these times and for any size athlete,so the techniques work. Incredible. If it ain't a Danaher guy then its leg specialists like L.Giles and Jones making unreal showings as well. Roll on.....

Jason Peterson Renzo team had ONE person that won. They did not dominate. Yes Gordon did well. But when you look at the results only one person from the team won.

Bad Wolf MMA I agree with your statement but the atmosphere would be epic. Plus I’m sure there are multiple high level belts there too. My class size is small but there are classes where there are 5 or more black belts in the room to help disperse the knowledge

Mr. NogiJiujitsu I hear you. But as I tell ppl when you watch Floyd mayweather train it’s him and his father. That’s any boxer actually. They learn how to fight by working one on one with their coach. Not in group classes.

Well it was a gym opening and they were taking an establishment photo so traditional white/blue gi being mandatory for these events is not really stupid. Most other bjj gyms also encourage people to wear the traditional white/blue gi for club group photos.
