Because even in wrestling your objective is not to stand up and put yourself in a dominant position. You can also do that on the ground. Wrestling has many starting positions that aren't standing up and you're objective is to pin them with you in the dominant spot. So do that then​@@youknowwho5900

@@youknowwho5900cause this is grappling and not just wrestling with submissions. I love it when people pull guard on me because I prefer passing from top with heavy pressure. But if someone is a better/pure Wrestler than me in a competition I will do the smart thing and pull guard myself. But no matter what, backing off and being afraid to engage from top OR bottom should always be punished.

The match with cyborg and nic were exactly the same except cyborg was able to wrestle up and nic failed and got injured. All Michael did was flee then bottom player wrestled up.
