Thanks for posting this - it gave me the confidence to give it a go and it worked out great! Just a call out that I needed some additional guidance on removing around the tail light and getting the hitch thriugh the gap - luckily another video had those - thanks again!!
super helpful, thank you sir worked pretty much the same with the Curt brand one the etrailer is shipping right now, except you DO have to remove the bumper entirely, which.. helpful to have something to rest both the hitch and the bumper on, or a friend/neighbor/buddy to help with that part
Hey Dude, you surprised me. I've looked at lots of your videos but never guessed you liked to get your hands dirty. You have given me encouragement to try it.
I don’t get my hands dirty as much as I used to - I’ve done a clutch replacement on my S2000, engine replacement on my Fiat 500 Abarth, full suspension overhaul on my BMW E91.
Thanks for this video! It was useful to see what kind of clips each panel was held by. Have you installed a trailer wiring harness yet? I've seen pictures of an install but they didn't show the back of the trim panels that you have to remove. I'm afraid of breaking the plastic.
Your instructions worked well. Thanks for posting. Question: how do I get a trailer light connector now?? Do I have to buy a powered lights kit? Or is there a simpler way?
Thanks for the video. What happened when you didnt have the bumper harness plugged in? Having to always disable the maneuver braking is extremely annoying with a rack installed and I'm wondering what happens if I just disconnect the radar.
Great install video. I'm considering the same brand when my Kings Red Pro S shows itself stateside late December - Early January. Any tips on the electrical for the trailering wiring? Are there provisions or instructions for that? Thanks...
I scratched the “silver” rear trim piece. Do you think from installing the tow hitch you’d have to remove the bumper to remove? Found the part online , but looks like no instructions for install. Really like your videos!
@@brandenflasch thanks for prompt reply. Sorry I meant the silver trim piece that is part of the gradient package. I was hoping to pry it off to replace , but it looked like it might have to be removed from inside the bumper, so having to remove the bumper. I am just hoping to be lazy. Are thinking of hooking up electrical for a trailer or just using for bikes?
@@marstong I think that silver section may be a painted part of the main black plastic? I haven’t ever looked very close at that. I suspect bumper would need to come off.
I’ve ordered some things to add wiring and make a video about it. That will probably be out in ~2 weeks to allow me to do the work and put together a video.
I was able to install the bumper without the trimming… I would probably recommend the trimming as not trimming the bumper did make reinstalling the bumper cover more difficult.
