@@mark9237 really I know nobody “cares” but people watching a video like this might have a comment or two on the gun whether they like it or if they heard this or that about it. I’m not looking for a atta boy bro just trying to start a dialogue about a gun I just got
You got 10 likes...that means at least 10 people understand why you posted. I was just gonna like your comment but saw the reply you got and thought this needed to be typed. The guy seriously asking...sounded like he wasn't too interested after asking the questions with multiple question marks. Anyway, the 43x is a nice choice and Lenny at the Glock Store has many videos about it and all the stuff he sells for it..soak it up.
Thanks for the tip about putting the slide in one’s luggage. That point wasn’t obvious to me and probably someone else out there as well. Love your videos and appreciate how you are doing the hard work educating the consumer. Can’t wait to see your store on my next trip to Nashville. 😊
Hi Lenny, thank you for the instructional posts, they are all very informative. I’m not very handy when it comes to mods like this and I’m sure if I took the various pieces off of my 43X, I’d never get them back properly. It would be nice if I could purchase the GS slide w/Holosun and it included all of the parts, ready to be installed.
I'm like you. I would love to have it done for me. It's worth paying the extra cost. In my case, I have a local gunsmith who would take it apart and reassemble it.
I like the idea of a second slide, but when i priced it out it was cheaper for me to purchases another 43X with MOS. I got the hole gun for 385.00 blue label.
I just got extra slide and all the slide components. This way you can swap complete slide without fiddling with small parts. I didn't want to mill the silver slide on my 43X
So glad you are in Nashville now, welcome to Tennessee. I’m wanting to add an optic to my 43x but am not wanting to modify my slide. I’m considering a dovetail mount however these precut slides also seem like an option worth considering. What’s your thoughts, pros and cons of each?
I ordered a classic slide with combat cut for my G19 months ago and still don't have it. I'm trying to be patient but every time I call customer service, they say that they don't know where in the process my slide is or when it will ship. Sure would've been a reasonable addition to let customers know that if they order a slide from GS that it may not ship for 3 or more months.
I think, but I'm not sure that this problem has been solved by purchasing an adapter plate for about $25.00 allowing installation of the Holosun sight on the Glock 43X.
Ordered a custom slide almost two months ago and still waiting. Every time I call about it I can’t get any answer to what’s going on with the order, kinda ridiculous especially when you can send your slide in for custom work and get it back in 10 days
@willgreen5456: I just picked up a new custom G48 with the optic mounted and extended buttons, it's a beauty and you won't regret it if you go that route, I'll probably do the same with my bare G19 Gen 3 now! "KEEP ON KEEPIN ON"
Why would you want a red dot sight on a pocket gun? The 43x is so small, why would one want the benefits of a red dot sight? I use red dots for my competition shooting on large framed pistols. Not throwing stones, just wondering what benefit you get? The 43x IMO is a point and shoot defense weapon. It is not a range gun, or a quick shot gun. I like carrying a larger pistol (1911 or 2011) and plain iron sights. I guess if you want to double the cost of that 43x, this red dot conversion is a good option.
My honest advice: Do not modify or add anything to a serious self defense weapon. I have had numerous range guns come up with sudden issues and malfunctions after changing springs, red dots, etc
Lenny, is it possible to order this as just a direct replacement without having to move over my internals? I would love to just take my stock slide off and add this one.
@@glockstore I went to the store and it didn't seem to be available for the 43x with the Holoson EPS. Only the stripped version. Is this something that comes back into stock?
I have never understood why someone doesn't make a mounting plate that replaces the Glock sight and allows mounting of a Red Dot with no milling. Seems like it would be simple little part to make. Guess there is more money to be made in replacing the entire slide for $200+.
There is one lol there is several different kinds but tbh they suck they make the gun bulky even with just a extra cm of the plate also the red dot doesn't stay zeroed in of you barely bump sight your screwed it looks horrible ..
I want to get a red dot for my G43X . If I send my slide to you . What’s the price for Red Dot plus installation ? Tried to message you on FB wouldnt let me .
Anyone pick this up and notice if the pyramid cut reduces the recoil and acts as a built in comp? I’ve been thinking about getting a top cut in my factory slide to do something like that, but I’m curious if anyone has any experience with this
$579 for a stripped slide with a 507k? The optic is $300. That makes your slide $279. You can get an incredible LF43 Elite stripped slide in black for $160. Shop smarter people...
I purchased a PSA micro dagger comp slide with all the parts ready to go installed already. You just have to drop your barrel and spring in . Slide is pre cut for an RMSc optic with iron sights installed already to co witness. Works flawlessly on my Glock 43X MOS. Even with my Riton optic it was well under $300
Comp slide works flawlessly after 500 rounds. I carried Glocks in the line of duty for 33 years, but I’m sure you have much more experience shooting paper targets with your air soft gun in moms basement
Ain’t no way I’m adding an aftermarket slide to a carry gun. Some of them are fine but there are so many made cheaply that it’s not worth potential reliability sacrifice
My EDC is a 43x, but I don't prescribe to all the aftermarket crap that obliterates the cost of the gun. IMO, the only thing worth changing is the trigger assembly for about $80. Gun then shoots great!!
You advocate NOT to have 'live' ammunition anywhere near you or in the room when you work on firearms. Yet less than 2 feet away from you is a full mag with live rounds?????
Hello Lenny, I would like to ask if the red dot optics is waterproof? I'm asking this because when I give the slide a spa day, when I clean mine, when I buy me a glock, from your glockstore? I really appreciate you reaching out to your costumers, even if you have to repeat on how to be a more safer, and responsible gun (glock) owners, and more accurate than ever before. I would not get mine, when I do get my first ever handgun anywhere else, but only from the glockstore. And I am already planning to try your shooting ranges when I have my fully optimized glock, from your glockstore. You just don't know how fully appreciative we all are, your customers. More ammo power, and God bless.
