Great tutorial! I also prefer fiddling with the highlights and shadows instead of contrast and exposure.

Got to tell you, I've watched soo many videos in almost two years, and No one has explained post processing like you do, I finish more confused than when I start watching the videos. Please keep them coming. You have a loyal fan here going forward, 2 videos of yours talking about post processing and Ive learned so much and way more that I did in almost 2 years watching other videos from other "super stars" 1mill up followers, they talk fast, there screen is presented in such way that you can't even tell what buttons or sliders they are pressing or moving. Could you please do a video on Portraiture post, skin tone, eye sharpening and color etc. Be great if you do a separate video on camera settings for portrait in studio setting vs outdoors, 55 or 85mm vs 24mm portraits etc.

Thanks so much Roger, I really appreciate your kind words, as these videos are a lot harder to make than they may appear because of exactly what you said. I do plan on doing way more videos on processing in the near future, especially color grading, color theory, and proper re-touching for skin and sharpening, etc. this is the direction we are going and lots more to come! 🙏✌

Nice vid as usual. I would love to see a tutorial on noise processing. I know my way around for light and color processing (as an amateur), but I suck at removing the noise without destroying my picture... Cheers.

Could you please produce two videos: one, concise step by step process on how you should correctly post process a raw file in colour and perhaps a second step by step video on just how to create high contrast black and white images in post processing. Both videos being a 1-whatever number that will work with any image all the time.

How come that every tutorial on RU-vid feels like an endurance test, to see how long you can listen to someone , before you go insane? There is so much unnecessary talk, from 99% of all RU-vidrs, and I guess that they can do that to the viewers, because they know that the information that the viewers are looking for, aren’t anywhere else to be found in verbal form. Imagine asking directions to the nearest store from a RU-vidr, it will take them 10 to maybe get to the answer, that is how it feels to look for information on RU-vid. Isn’t so damn frustrating.
