I noticed that you did not mention the extra fans. Here is some good G-code to add for the "Printer Settings" -> Custom G-code "End G-code" section END_PRINT M106 S0 ; Make sure part fan is off M106 P1 S0 ; Make sure fan is off M106 P2 S0 ; Make sure side fan is off "After layer change G-code" section M106 P2 S{(layer_num < 1 ? 0 : 204)} ; Side fan to 80% after layer 2 ------------- The "204" is 255 x 0.8 = 204. This is 80% fan as recommended for PLA. This would not be used for any other material other than maybe TPU.

do you have some complete profile for K1 / K1C ?

Hey Tim, thank you for this extra information. I got the basic settings on the Prusa Slicer profile, and I did get fan actions, but it is a great addition for anyone who wants this in their Slicer G-code

I don't have it yet, I did show some basic settings to get people started with Prusa Slicer.

What is the best setting for .8 Nozzle configurations. Please update the video .8 Nozzle configurations sir
@timhoover1416
@timhoover1416 6 месяцев назад
If you add "Max volumetric speed" setting in "Print Settings" -> "Speed" that will limit the overall speed for your nozzle. I would recommend 20 for most materials, but your mileage may vary.

I do rarely change nozzle sizes, maybe in the future. So far in Creality Print, they only have 0.4 nozzle in their slicer. But I do see that @timhoover1416 does have some extra info

Thanks for post! I'm going to work to get my K1 working with prusa slicer and will report back. First question is that you are using Reprap flavour, but I see there is a Klipper flavour option... should I stay with Reprap or did something change since the video was made?
@Zachary3DPrints
@Zachary3DPrints 4 месяца назад
Thanks for the question. Maybe there was a change after the video I made. You could try the Klipper version and do a test print, if the result is looking better/great, then use that gcode flavor, if not, use the Reprap flavor.

where are you getting these values as I dont see them in creality print with advanced enabled? IE jerk setting, feedrate etc
@Zachary3DPrints
@Zachary3DPrints 6 месяцев назад
Hey Roger, you can find these mentioned settings within Creality Print, in the manage printers when selected the printer. Here you open the Printer settings, in the printer settings, you need to go to Move Ability. There you find the feedrate and jerk settings. Let me know if this did help you

It's most likely because you're using the search but didn't switch the tabs. Search showing parameters only in the current tab.

You're blocking the bottom section of the settings with yourself so hopefully I'm doing this correctly.

Oops, my bad! I guess I’m just trying to be the ‘main feature’ in every setting! 😂 Which part did you miss, because of this?

@@Zachary3DPrints the bottom third of every page of settings. But I'm back on Creality Print since the update anyway. But thanks!

I did check every part in the video, to see what you mean, but I thought people might find it when checking their Prusa Slicer. How do you like the Creality Print 5.1?

Very nice! I was wondering if you could do a video where you set it up to "high quality"? This video is showcasing the 0.2mm layer height, but for us outhere who would love to print minis, a 0.1mm is better :) I've tried copying the info from creality print into prusa slicer, but it is almost russian to me.

@Zachary3DPrints 3 месяца назад
Hey, sorry for the late reply. Did you find anything that helped you already? If not, check the settings in Creality Print for the 0.1mm profile and slow the printer a bit down. If needed I'll make a video for you

My guess is that either you have the original extruder (that is what mine came with) or you are retracting too much. If you have more than 2 mm for the retraction, then I would dial it back. If that does not help, then you probably have the original junk extruder. They changed them about 3 months into production, but many had the bad design. I had to buy a new one on Amazon (it was like $30) to fix the problem.

@@timhoover1416 I actually bought the New extruder on Amazon same problem gets when I change a different filament honestly people who review had mix reviews I should have stayed away

Hi, if you have the Creality Print K1 Profile, please check all the settings from the printer settings in Extrusion 1 under retraction settings, filament temp for the nozzle at 220 for pla. Which filament are you using currently?

Man I'm sorry to put it here, but this guide is a HUSE MISTAKE to be used by K1 owners. The whole idea of using Ender 6 as a base is a mistake. You've gained tons of stupid parameters that have nothing to do with K1 really. All start g-codes needs to be wiped out and replaced by a single START_PRINT casue it will TWICE do all the homings and nozzle cleaning if you left it like in the video. There is no need for them. K1 does them himself and it's IMPORTANT. Also you're suggested to place ABL there. WHY! Man, ABL takes 10 minutes to run over all bed points. It should be runned manually from time to time, but not during the beginning of ANY print. The problem here is thou there IS a lot of good advices in this guide, for example the generail idea of exploring parameters from Cura (creality print) and moving them to Prusa. Or about making bed model looks suitable. But. I strongly suggest anyone to discover more guides, this one is very arbitrary. I tried it first and I found a lot of mistakes I've described ahead.

Thank you for your comments. It’s in the title and I did mentioned it several times in the video… The profile that I made was an example to get people started. I did remove the start gcode and end gcode and I got issues during printing. If you didn’t get issues, that’s great. I took a lot of time and effort into the profile before the video and see what worked the best. During the video I made the profile that worked. Don’t call it a huge mistake. I did my part and you found something that even works better, that’s good 👍. Very cool
