Thank you thank you!! You're the only one to answer my question of whether or not you can run the tvs cable box through the switch aswell. Now i can use my hdmi ARC port for my soundbar, & the tvs last remaining hdmi port for the Switch (with firestick/ bluray/DirecTV receiver).
thank you for sharing your experience with us, may you please tell me what is the brand and model number of the HDMI Switcher you installed on your TV. Thank you.

I'm trying to find a auto switch of some kind, to work with the switching of the players. Do you have any kind information on how to make this work!
How does the TV recognize the devices? I only have 2 HDMI ports on my tv and nothing else. I’m having a hard time getting my blue ray player working on it

So I have 2 hdmi from my Samsung, one s for my Alexa cube, so how do you use a sound bar and a dvd at the same time if you have to switch back and forth?
I just got an HDMI switcher to add a VHS/DVD player because my TV only has two HDMI inputs and they're already being used. So I connected the switcher to my TV and then I connected the extra HDMIs to my cable box and the VHS/DVD player and I turned it on and I pressed the select input on The switcher to watch the VHS but my Samsung TV is not picking it up. It's asking me if I would like to add a new device I tried clicking on source and nothing happens. my TV only has two HDMI imports One is connected to the HDMI switcher and the other one is connected to my soundbar which is a HDMI ARC. Should I try using a digital optical converter instead since my TV does have a digital optical and can use a converter to connect to the VHS/DVD player? I need help thank you everybody.. But I would rather just use HDMI cables instead of RCA cables and coaxials.
Glad to see someone so keen about tech. Yes try the digital optical converter. If you can include pics of connectors on your VHS that would help provide more info.
Please forgive this old grandmother for asking this question. My internet speed is slower than it should be. I want my grandchildren to be able to play Stadia. If I could add on an ethernet cable I think that would help the problem. But I only have three places to plug things in in back. I've already put a splitter in. If I were to use this device would I be able to add an ethernet cable?
You are the inspiration to keep the channel going. Thank you for your question. This is not the device you are looking for. If I understand correctly, you have a wired internet connection with limited ethernet slots, adding slots/cables does not really increase the speed, it only divides what you have as the input into smaller chunks. Ideally requesting your provider to increase the bandwidth is the best option to boost speed however it also increases the cost. Limiting the number of connected devices will also help. Feel free to comment back if I misunderstood the question or if you would like to ask anything else.
@@RadnusTechnology I think you are correct. Thank you for your reply, I sure appreciate it. Trying to get My internet provider to keep my speed to where it is supposed to be has been a problem. Google does recommend people using ethernet cable with Stadia, and I'm short one port. Kind of a bummer situation here lol. Thank you for your kindness. I will subscribe.
The problem with all HDMI switchers is the same: they don't work with your TV remote. so basically you end up having to use 2 remotes. Soon you'll notice that it's easier to replug your cables then to actually search that remote which you can't seem to find again. It may be easier to just figure out which devices you're really using and get rid of the clutter. Perhaps connect them to a different TV in your bedroom or the monitor at your desk.
