One thing I want to add is that the Azure Let's Encrypt extension needs update once in a while, go to Kudu > Site Extensions and click on the extension's Update button (up arrow) and then click on Restart Site.

On thing i forgot to note or ask was in the part of the video you had us put app settings in for the storage account connection strings. In 2020 it looks like you can paste them into the let's encrypt azure form. Not sure if that part of the video is needed. I haven't removed mine to test but thought i'd call it out for other people.

"No web app could be found, please validate that Resource Group Name and/or Site Slot Name are correct" while adding extension. What could be the issue?

Great work! Instructions are clear and simple to understand. Newer version of Let's encrypt extension has the form to submit values. Thank you so much.

Not sure if it's changed since this was made, but kudo/site extensions path, needed around 4:15, does not exist for me

I am getting error from letsencrypt after filling up the Authentication Settings (clientId, ClientSecret, servicePlan etc) and trying to install error: The Service Plan is using the Shared which doesn't support SSL certificates.

Thanks Ray, how's the renew side, it still a manual job to renew the certificate?

Can you do an update to include two new fields in Kudu, DashboardConnectionString & StorageConnectionString

Hi, thank you for this tutorial. I was successful in creating and installing a valid cert. It is however not renewing :/ has anyone come across this issue?
