Sorry, I am not following. At the 4 minute mark I go over how to generate the token using Firebase. At the 17 minute mark, I go over creating the route to get the auth token. It then uses Firebase to create the token that can then be used to authenticate the application API. You just copy and past the token for your API key. I hope that is what you are asking. Essentialy the video covers this aspect of it.
