All you need is a Audio Control LC2i PRO and tap into the rear speaker wires, the speaker wires act as a signal so you don't need the remote wire. Remote out coming from the Audio Control LC2i PRO connects to the amplifier.
I just bought a 2014 c250 with HK7, the back right speakers are blown, how can i get rid of the rattle? Will adding this and a new sub remove the old sub and rattle? How do u keep the other small speaker back there connected?
Would it not be best to line convert from the sub cables in the case the column/door speakers are running through a crossover? Or are they all full range?
Ha I don’t try much until I see it on you channel! Perfect timing. Did you leave the center speaker wire connected when you tapped in? Just wondering if your system gave you an error if you unplugged it. I did my old bmw and I had to take it to be reprogrammed. Just trying to get a little more base in a cls550
Hey mate I can’t install my amplifier because my car is M c200 don’t have a speaker in back for connection Line out Converter , u know how can I install ?
I have a question if I only have a JBl built in amp with box all in one. What all do I need to hook up my stereo I don’t want to pay an arm and a leg if I can do it I have a stock stereo 2006 w203 stereo I know I need: all in one that I have and wires which wires do I need? And is there a step by step on how to add this to my car???? Please help!!??☺️ can I ask why you didn’t need to use a converter?
Hey flexx keep up the good work man I see the growth I was wondering did your stock setup comes Harmon and kardon speakers or system or they was jus regular
On the converter combine the 2 stripe wires, combine the 2 solid wires together, hook the combined wires to the speaker; the solid wires are the hot +, stripe are negative, hook the blue wire to the amp remote and the black to the amp ground
Hey bro great video first off. Second I have a 2002 Mercedes c240 that I'm trying to do the same thing but its just one sub that came stock in the back window of my car facing into to trunk and I cant figure out how to access the wires to splice into it so i can just keep my stock stereo can you help me out at all?
Flexx Alexander ah okay! and one more question. Did you do positive/negative on the LOC and put one on the red wire and then one on the black? ? Or did you do positive/positive and negative/negative. I’ve been seeing many different ways but I’ve been watching your videos for everything on my c350 coupe and I just wanted to know how you did it because you do things most efficiently 🤙🏾
@@vonipl Where you able to figure it out i'm also confused if the red and black wire is supposed to be positive/negative or positive/positive negative/negative because the LOC came with 4 wires 2 positive and 2 negative
The former behind the battery, is it the black plastic thing I have to pry open to get inside the car or is it literally behind the battery what did u use to pry open the grommet if that’s where I’m supposed to get inside the car
Thank you for making this video. I didn’t tear anything apart on my car yet because I want to be absolutely certain I can safely remove the grill covering the subwoofer in the rear deck. You skipped over that part in the video.
But,,,, GREAT IDEA with the bright LED's in the trunk! I'm going to do that to my car. I agree to the comment that the existing light in the trunk SUCKS!!! :D
I don't even have sound coming out of my harmon kardon sound system. I bought it like that the dealer said he doesn't no why. Bull ...... it also has a XHD-8000 screen 10.25 inch. It's good everything works just no sound. Driving me nuts. Mercedes did a diagnostic check and said it's between the screen and the head unit something there not working
The line out converter connect to the rear speaker did u connect all 4 wires to both ends of the rear speaker/oem subwoofer cause the rear speaker has 4 wires connected to it. 2 on each side
I like to listen to the Sat/radio/media in my GLA 45 with the engine off, but the ECU computer shuts off the radio after a few minutes. Is there a way to defeat or adjust this ECU parameter on the Mercedes? Thx. (BTW, great video).
Yes. Cause tapping into a speaker is just to get the signal. It’s always a cleaner signal from the back of the radio but for bass, any signal from any speaker will do. The aftermarket amp is going to do the rest of the work.
Only one person can tell you if it voids the warranty and that’s the person/company that provides you with a warranty. Nobody else can tell you. Not a RU-vidr, not your dad, not anyone. At the end of the day, the warranty person/company makes the rules. Warranty company’s can make up anything to not cover you especially if you install an aftermarket part onto a car. They can blame a subwoofer if you have an electrical problem. They can blame a tune for your door window not working. They can do almost anything they want and the only way to get full coverage, is keep your car bone stock. They aren’t gonna pay up for some issue you have caused by an “aftermarket part” that was improperly installed. It’s up to you to decided if you wanna risk it or not. I buy my cars outside of the warranty period cause I want to mod the crap outta it. I just make sure I have a good mechanic if anything happens.
@@TheFlexxGarage to me it’s not worth it if you have a brand new Benz. This is only good for older models. Unless you are super rich I would advise against what he is doing. It’s going to void your warranty and if you have electrical problems your screwed.
@@axelfoley8385 There is actually a law that says aftermarket auto accessories will not void your warranty. I found it in a benz forum. unfortunately I don't have the link.
Hey what’s up Flexx it’s a small world as they say ..I just notice that we are our were neighbors if you still reside where you mad this video i would like to get together so you can give me some pointers you’d seen me or my wife driving a white 2014 Mercedes-Benz cla 250 I just bought a 10 inch Rockford Fosgate subwoofer and a amp for $250 put I need some one to run the wire harness Thanks Ommy
Your 204 looks the tits bro makes me wanna get one lol. Love the wrap and colour scheme. I love your bang for buck approach it sets you apart from all the other youtube channels who have an unnecessary "the best or nothing" approach.
to the car speaker? using a line out converter as i mentioned in the video. The line out converter taps into the terminals on the existing car speaker.
trying to figure out the wiring. Can anyone help me with the tapping into the rear sub? I have the same setup but can’t figure it out. Driving me crazy.
I have a new E-Class coupe and the speakers are trash, no car electronics installers can be bothered fitting an amp for me because they are too happy doing shit like installing dash cams. They just say why would you want better speakers the stock should be good in that car.
