Sometimes, I also make a spaghetti omelet, but you should put the tomato sauce in the spaghetti before and then mix the eggs with parmigiano cheese and then pour them into to the spaghetti. I am from Italy and we make it this way. It's just an advice.

That’s the most interesting play on a carbonara that I’ve ever seen. I’d have cooked the egg onto the noodles, first, then added tomatoes. That’s enough. I’m not a big carbonara fan, so I’d omit the egg, altogether. Maybe just buttered noodles with tomato..
