I already done this set up using Pioneer DDJ-SR and Virtual DJ software. I remember you had the same video before but using DDJ-200 with Serato SL box. Thanks sensei!
Did this with the DDJ-T1 and a pair of PLX-500, the only audio cable in the whole setup was from the T1 to the speakers, everything else was digital usb, very clean setup and that was over 3 years go
You can probably do the same under windows with ASIO4ALL assuming both the audio Interface and the FL6 is ASIO compliant. All that being said it is easier to do it under MacOS as the aggregator is built in.
So far, I have found that macOS handles syncing of aggregate devices much more reliably. I haven’t quite figured it out on Windows yet. You can get weird glitches like your FLX6 working properly but the timecode jumping in and out of lagging.

Very interesting video, I have 4 questions: 1) Can you also set the 'Absolute Mode'? 2) Would it also work with the new Reloop Flux interface, (it's USB Class-Compliant)? 3) My question is still theoretical: instead of connecting the XP1 or XP2 to activate the DVS, could we connect the Interface 2 and also connect the Traktor Audio 6? Or would there be conflicts 4) Can the Audio 6 interface be used with a classic 2-channel mixer and Rekordbox, like the Interface 2, of course with DVS plugin active via license or with XP1/2 hardware?
So does this enable you to mix all 6 channels at the same time. I noticed when you was moving the vinyl it was imitating on the jog wheel. Is there anyway to run both turntables and jog wheels independently 😊

Can I use a controller not compatible with Rekordbox (Ddj-rev1 or Numark Party Mix 2), and instead of the Traktor interface use the newer Interface 2 Pioneer (avoiding the conflict between controller and interface aggregating devices), to be able to use DVS the same way you did in the video?
nice video, Do you think it is a good idea of buying this DJ Controller and have a converter in between to to convert the RCA to XLR to have a balanced and better sound quality? One thing to be said is, im just a starter and googling since almost 1 month and trying to find something good, and also not too expensive . so would be very happy if you can reply.

IF i wanna use real vinyls in thru mode, is this possible? Or to this setup work, is a must have the THRU deactivate and this scenario using real vinyls is not possible? It will not work. It will only work if you have the interface plugged into a mixer where you’re using the interface’s individual output for each channel. That’s not the case here. The DJ software has no capability of “pass-thru.”
Hi there! So at 3:50 you mentioned that we can't use the Pioneer RekordboxDJ DVS Interface 2, because it would create a conflict. Would that conflict also exist with the DDJ-200 which doesn't have any sound card? It would be a perfect setup for me as I'm already using the DDJ-200 in a mixer case with 2 PLX turntables beside it (selling my DJM-S9). Also, what about using PhaseDJ DVS in this scenario? I'm trying to avoid moving to Serato as I already have the XP1 (not the XP2!) Thanks!
@priyonjoni Is this possible with the Rev 7 too? I used to own turntables, SL1 & SL2 back in the day but I'm now wanting to try a controller. Also, I like the idea of being able to add a turntable next to Rev 7 for the future.
@@priyonjoni I never knew that to be honest mate. Im still breaking into the new tech, although im 31 I have been oldskool for years on vinyl and standard cdjs. Only had new equipment i.e flx 6 since 2020, before that i was using pioneer cdj 100s with a gemini 626 mixer for some time so im new to all this techy stuff 🤣

Possibly related question: Would Serato Pro run on my trusty old Pioneer SB3 if I had a Pioneer XP2 chained into my 16” MacBook Pro? Or am I still stuck with Serato Lite? Thanks in advance!

The PLX-500’s interfaced isn’t designed for real-time connectivity. It will actually introduce more latency than a proper interface. It’s designed for ripping vinyl into the computer. PLX-500 isn’t really a professional DJ turntable. It’s a playback and vinyl ripping device that takes design cues from the PLX-1000.
hi PJ, can a DDJ sb3 + phase +any turntable with serato works? i saw you use a CDJ +phase+ light sword (that's dope btw). i ask this cause i want to use the ddj fader to control the right side and phase to scratch properly.

is it possible to set this up thru asio? I have a PLX 500 im trying to make work on a FLX 10 hooked up to a dac so i can share my speakers with my computer.
Using this method would it allow you to play your records on the turntables or are you just controlling the track that’s loaded in rekordbox with them? If this makes sense lol
Heyy question can we use the hid feature on the cdjs with a flx6 connecting cdjs to the laptop via usb using a hub and then the flx6 to the computer using a different hub?
What if i want to link my technics to this unit but do not want to use timecoded vinyl, i just want to use them with my vinyl thai i have and use the other 2 channels with rcordbox ? What do i need to link them please? Many thanks in advance
If there is a reliable way to aggregate devices AND keep them in sync on Windows, then it’ll be possible. I could be wrong, but at the current moment, I don’t know of any reliable utility.
The issue with windows is that there is no effective way to aggregate multiple devices and keep them in sync. This goes for both native or 3rd party method.
