As a child, I somehow got ahold of the 45 of this song. I played it over and over and over... until my Mom broke it in half. I don't know which was shattered more, the record or me!
@@dieguithor640 No, but I can certainly relate to his relatively brief obsession. Mind you, I was still a child during mine, while Mr. Griffin was not.
I get it. My favorite Cd was my 2nd one GnR Appetite for Destruction. I broke it by accident one day, and my heart sank 😮 I had to replace it, but I felt 💔 without it.. This was in 95 cds were still up there in price. That one in particular and I was 10 didn't have a job..
Whenever I need to laugh myself breathless, I watch Ted Cassidy (Lurch) in this video, as he learns to enjoy dancing to Surfin' Bird. Dude was hilarious in a role that seems so narrow.
As originally "written", it was even more narrow. Lurch had no lines at all. Ted Cassidy improvised the "Urrrrrrrr" and the hat-taking move at his audition. The producers loved him and made his character talk.
Wednesday Addams (Lisa Loring) is an excellent little dancer and Morticia Addams (Caroline Jones) could really twist! The Addams women were clearly natural dancers.
