I love the unplanned/surprise marks that can be achieved with a printing technique like this. You just cant achieve the same quality/type of marks by applying the media directly to the substrate, love it!

I guess you are a visual person. You know here to Draw the lines and make all those marks to the painting make sense. That's remarcable. I like that frame. I'll make one for me. Thanks

Of course it was filmed live. What else would it be? And, as usual, it’s fabulous ❤️

Dan. Been watching your videos for a while now - you have taught me a lot. Wanted to let you know of a method I discovered by accident recently - that you may want to utilize in a video. On paper - do a design in oil pastel ( usually bright colors work best, yellow and orange) and then cover either partially or completely with black oil paint, and then use a metal edge like a razor blade or whatever is flat and metal…to scrape the black oil paint, leaving a nice bright yet textural surface that is left by the oil pastel. Apologies if you already did a video like this. Cheers and thanks. J.

Simply great ! I just didn’t know that acrylic paint can be used over oilbar marks. Thanks for the lesson ! 🙏
