My first monorail track was in a used lot of bulk LEGO... I was amazed that it was in there. 😂 I remember seeing the sets at stores, but, I never was willing to get them since I was more interested in airplanes. Never too late to start our monorail quest.

I can already see a layer of dust on the Ninjago City set! Even my Lego sets behind closed glass cabinets are starting to accumulate dust so can't imagine him trying to dust off ALL those exposed sets in the basement.

I would say instead of on the sides have beams in the middle of the road. Use some rods/polls on the sides or front as greebling. It'll look like electrical conduit and add stability to the 1x4 beam since you'd be locking together every few sections. Probably fancier ways but that comes to mind.

That was such an awesome video to watch and see that monorail come to life. I don’t know why, but I really think they look better than regular trains that most of the cities I have seen have. You definitely need to use your new cloud as Lego masterto get Lego to come out with a new monorail. Trying to buy the old ones is just way too cost prohibitive. I love the new layout of your city and can’t wait to see how you grow it even more.

Pretty cool. When you decide to update the stanchions, I recommend a combination of 2x2 light bluish gray masonry bricks and black or dark bluish gray lattice towers. Also one of the drivers popped out of his seat during one of the falls ;)

Yeah.. You really need to get your bricks sorted :P Structural support is super important for monorails that will be moving and transferring inertia into the track and supports, you can't skimp out on proper supports.

Bro, come on. You need to paralyze work, surface assumptions early and often. You need to be able to figure out what is physically possible here and what is the minimum viable product of this particular launch
