Exciting to get a new machine. I have a 2019 VIO35-6a. Solesbees told me I would have to remove the factory cylinder eyelet on the stick and weld their eyelet on to use their thumb. Nope. I am waiting on delivery of a TAG thumb. More $ but their thumb is the OEM installed unit and I purchased the hose kit made for this thumb and machine combo for a faster installation.
My vio35-3 just pinched my quick couple hose and put a hole in it because whoever installed the thumb didn't put the shims in. Do you have any extra shims lying around?
Hello and thank you for the video! Recently picked up a PC27 and looking at hydraulic thumbs. I was curious about your buying experience with the Solesbee's? Did you order directly through them? If so, how was that experience, cost, etc. Appreciate anything you are willing to share. Look forward to more videos with the Yanmar.
I had a great experience with Solesbee's. They have a very straight forward sizing sheet on their website to determine exactly what thumb will fit your machine. Mine cost around. $1800 - which for reasonable for a quality thumb if you check prices. The build quality is top notch. Thanks for watching!
