Thanks for sharing. Super great info on the needles 🪡. I’m wondering about your process on the layers you add. Is it 1. The cloth cover, 2. The chip board, 3. Cardboard, 4. Pretty paper, 5. chipboard that the signatures are sewn onto 🤔

I stitched the fabric pieces to a quilt batting, then glue the batting portion to the chipboard base with Fabritac. The chipboard base is 3 pieces (front cover, back cover and spine). Then I cut chipboard for the inside cover panels and cover them with paper and the glue those with Fabritac to the inside covers. I cute a second spine, which I cover in paper and sew the signatures into them, then glue it to the spine base.

This is going to be *sew* lovely when done. I would have thought to do the sewing before adding it to the cover chipboard. TFS ☺♥

I've tried it both ways and this way seems to work best for me. There is no one way, for sure. This is just the way that works best for me.
