One thing I have never liked about Retro PCs (and some modern PCs) is the sound quality. The cheap 2.0 speaker systems lacked any acoustical range and often sounded extremely bad. This project will be the first in a series where I will build a custom subwoofer system for my Retro PC projects using two Tang Band 5" Subwoofers in creative enclosure designs. The first box to be built is an Isobaric enclosure and powered by a Lepai plate amplifier.

Note: If you cannot hear the bass then you might need a better subwoofer/headphones/speakers.

Just wait until you see version two. If my projections are correct it should be even better.
