In this tutorial you will learn how to add surface imperfections to your Blender scenes in under 1 minute. You will download a surface imperfection texture, import it into Blender and plug it into your material. You will then use a color ramp to control the strength of the map.
Imperfections can help make your objects look more realistic, as, in the real world, nothing is perfect. These can include textures of scratches, dust specs, smudges, fingerprints, hairs, residue, isolated fingerprints and more.
