Thank you for this tutorial too! I use a Mac with Word PPS but the principles are the same. Again so easy to follow - you covered everything I needed. I think I've worked out how I would add a second or even a third piece of music to provide variety throughout - by stopping the previous 'sound' on a slide then starting the next in the same way as the first! I just walked myself through adding audio to my slide show.. I'd like to have NO audo play on the last slide. I tried to mute it but it muted it for all slides. Thank you so very much. Instead of dreading this assignment I've gotten stoked and creative through your videos.

Great tutorial and extremely helpful. However, I have a question, how can add another audio after the first audio is completed? I have over 200 slides and want incorporate other audio in the slides. Please advise. Thank you

Thank you for this! I have a presentation done for my Dad. My slides end before all of the songs I wanted to play and I just cant get it right. How do I tell how long the music is so I can adjust the timing of the slides?? I keep adjusting it but when I export to a movie file its never right. Thank you for your help!
If you open the song independently of PowerPoint it should open in some sort of media player on your computer and you’ll be able to see how long this song is.
I wanted to play background music to specific slide only with some other text and object animations however the music has to be played in full before it goes to the next animation. I had to manually click to trigger the next animation but what if I wanted it to save it as mp4? Edit: I've managed to make it to work by placing the music at the top order then set it to automatically then set the next 2 animation to play with previous but with added delays where I input a lesser delay on the first animation.
