Turns out pretty. To make your blue darker next time add just a tiny bit of black.

Yes, a bit of black or gray would darken the blue without adding a lot more paint.

lOVE, LOVE the blue master board. Didn't think it would be better than the last one, they are BOTH FABULOUS. When you mix any colour paint with white Gesso, or anything white, actually, the colour does become lighter, but with the acrylic and gesso, when dried,, it should dry a little bit darker. Another amazing piece. You can tint the blue with a little black paint to darken it, but just add a little at a time and mix in..

Making book cover journals for my grandchildren and I will include a sheet for each to cut up for deco in their journal. Will send a small jar of gesso and give them your link to give them ideas. Thanks so much for you and Joie.

Love the blue,it matches the color items you picked.to make it darker you need to add brown or black to get it darker.do a little at a time when you do it.just the blue will only be the blue of tube.but it’s still pretty.

Just a little suggestion. When mixing paint of any kind just add a little bit of the same meduim in a dark brown into the paint mix. This normally works for all paint mixes. This will give that bit of a vintage feel🌹

Your timing is immaculate as usual! I was just thinking of using my new stencils on one of the many master boards I've made! I make my own gesso and yes, you just add different colour paint but it's hard to judge the colour as it dries differently. It's easier to dab softer medium on with a sponge for stencils though and gives a crisper line. The blues and browns are gorgeous, I've never paired them but will now 😁. Oh I got those scissors, they're amazing aren't they? This turned out beautifully 😍 isn't it hard to get it into the sewing machine? Lol have a great day 💖

Oh EM Geee!! you did that just for me.... you used the cap.... and then BAM!!! SPlat Glob came out!!! Amazing!!! Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha I freaking can't... so glad you were giggling too... That was awesome... I so needed that if you want to make your colorBrighter add gesso... Lighter add white... Darker add Black Deeper add Black gesso... do small amounts at a time... you can also go over it after you dry it with a glaze... coffe worked good too lol (I'm typing and watching ) yw... LOL this was awesome !! Carry on!! Art 101 heee heee I am not laughing at you With always with... Ha love it... If you want to be darker add a little black into the paint,just a little bit, that would give you the right colour.

I love the colour you mixed, but then I wasn’t in your head to know what you wanted. You could try colouring a black gesso? I wonder if that would just be black! Possibly less white and more blue? Or using ink from a distress pad? However. I think your blue is gorgeous. Also there is tomorrow to do another board! Love from a cold Wirral. Where did Spring go?

I find mixing paint very challenging. Try adding a tiny bit of white to the blue next time. I usually just buy the color I want and use it because I am not successful with mixing.

Add small amounts of black this will darken any color. Add white to lighten any color.

Hello my friend, I have a question from using spring bird kit doing well with it just 2 fussy cut pieces iv no clue what to do with They look like ticket but have a an extra piece added on , don't know if I should fold but all of it has birds on n if I fold n do what with.lose the print Other piece is like funny shape at end n.it appears to have a tiny piece to fold under I'm just at a loss with it.i know you said you havnt used the kit but I'd like to use all of it in this journal , please help.me xx alanna n I love this blue

Perhaps if you were to add a small drop of black to it it would look a bit darker (to the paint mix )

Hi.there I think.using the gesso.id like using a primer.gives it a great surface n adding the color , to me helps it out.i been watching tina for bout 2 years n.i.love the fact she tries out on camera 1st I give all credit to her for just doing that alone.on camera x alanna

You are unique, but you really need to learn about balance, placement and how to edit. Once you decide what to use your master boards for, you may regret not glueing things down better. Tags, journal cards, book covers, ephemera, etc.
