A part 2, I changed some of the additions from the last part to make them sound better, subscribe and like to get more content Btw sorry for the short videos recently, but I've been getting little sleep so we gotta deal with this lmao
@@luigigabrielofficial She's an extreme perfectionist and probably wouldn't like it and she's also been an artist for more than 30 years into her career and probably thinks what she's done so far has been fine for her or doesn't have someone who pushes her to get on enough.
@@djoiner2013 that's what i love about her. She really knows exactly when to put a vibrato, and it is perfect, not exaggerated. Some singers use too much vibrato and it is not nice
Some of these belts don't necessarily need vibrato especially the short phrased ones in BPCH. Mariah usually puts vibrato at the end of a sustained note which is why the first Mine Again belt and the TTR one sounds satisfying. You made it sounds natural regardless though so good job!
I actually love the way Mariah can omit vibrato for belts when she feels it’s necessary. I actually stopped adding so much vibrato to my own singing because I feel it can be a distraction especially when doing a lot of riffs.
I love Mariah's music because she doesn't sing with vibrato so much. I love her soft voice and deep powerful voice, she sings so powerful anyway without using her vibrato. Whitney is Whitney, I love her too and her vibrato was truly part of her style of singing. Mariah and Whitney cannot be compared to each other. I love these songs just the way they are.
sounds great with vibrato better than the original in my opinion it's adds character I wish she did do the vibrato in those songs it's so much better. Especially the songs in the emacipation of Mimi album if she did vibrato like in this video it would most likely sound like 90s Mariah vocally which I prefer over present.i know Mariah says dont like belting but let's be real Mariah that is probably your best quality of your voice is belting so high with vibrato.
I think you should do this for forever because it is one of her most technical songs i’d say and has quite long notes , also maybe lead the way , and can someone confirm if that “the way” at 19s is her longest note
I like this concept! Though I would be a little more choosey about where I would place the vibrato instead of putting it on every sustained belt. Like in Circles, “Noooo nothing’s the same!” I wouldn’t put vibrato on the “nooo” I would keep it to the word “same”.
everything is great, it is but what i'm just very amazed is all of this vocal lines!!! these are vocal suicide and just the thought of singing all of this makes my vocal cords breaks. what a freaking legend!!! 💗
@@skip031890 that's not true lmfao. She has nodules and by that time they made it harder for her to use vibrato cause she has to have very strong chord closure. Dont ever compare xtina to Mariah again its embarrassing
If it doesn't have vibrato it is resonant and ringing... if it has, it will be resonant and piercing. So it depends on the song and it depends on the writer and Mariah writes her songs. She knows what's the best for her songs.
Pls try to put vibrato on her I stay in love (sustained F5 note) and All in your mind (sustained G5 note). I am really curious to hear her with vibrato on these notes. 😍
Nah it just doesn't work. Mariah has always been very specific about phrasing, which means she always use vibrato and non-vibrato belts intentionally. Changing that just somehow changes the quality of her phrases so yeah it sounds quite strange lol. I mean it does sounds good but nah, still strange to the ears haha
It's available here on RU-vid. Just search for "studio stem" or " a capella " of the songs you want to hear. P.s. Emotions, Outside, Mine again, Joy to the world, One sweet day (MC only) etc etc are all so good.
@@krissy9128 but not as good as the ones from this channel, i bet lol Ive never seen the stems from jttw and this channel have a video that showcase a little bit the bgv and etc.. I NEED IT
It also comes to so many reasons: in love performances, she could be pressured to sound good, so her cords are stressed which means no vibrato. Or, her nodules make it harder for her to produce it. Perhaps she has general anxiety over people tearing her down. Also, she rarely strained in the 90s, which is why Vibrato was much more present in songs, especially when belting or chest voice.
Most of them don't even need it and they doesn't sound as good actually because of adding it, Not you adding vibrato on every note of "Mine again"😭 Mariah use it most of the times at the end of some phrased notes for musical purpose "the most important thing in singing".
@@pambinobequeno5062 yes Celine Dion got that help me out vibrato 🤣 It gets stronger as she descends from most of her BELTING But it's really poor stamina Mostly twanged
