Addressed To You 

This is the first piece I'm releasing for my "What If Paintings Had A Soundtrack?" thing. This is my own "soundtrack" to the painting, October Afterglow by John Atkinson Grimshaw.
I was very inspired by the old romantic soundtracks of films like "Amore mio aiutami" by Peiro Piccioni, and the soundtrack to "Cinema Paradiso" by Ennio Morricone two of my favorite composers ever. The main theme to "Amore mio aiutami" is one of the greatest pieces of music ever graced on God's green earth.
Though short, this piece tells the story of the painting it was made for. A story of a sort of romanticized nostalgia of a time I never lived through in a culture I will never experience.
