Wow, this is very informative. Certainly stimulating new ways of looking at things and thinking as a clinician. Thank you so much for the podcast!

I’m quite confused… I was diagnosed with ADHD at 18. I relate a lot to the symptoms that are listed and I thought, like the video mentioned, that they were due to insufficient dopamine levels. If there is no such thing as ADHD, then why do we experience these symptoms?

The reasons why particular problems are very varied and dependent on context. The point about diagnosis such as ADHD is that they limit and often stop exploration of someone's context.

Yes, certain similar Symptoms doesn’t indicate that certain idiosyncrasies is unnatural or problematic, but made and designed to appear problematic etc. Dr. Leaf spoken about a Yale University study relating to their being NO NORMAL BRAIN…everyone experience is subjective unique to them and their unique Brain-Structure!

'symptoms' or normal human variance and experiences - no one gets a diagnosis in mental health its an illusion - reading the history of psychiatry and the DSM ought to disabuse people of these illusions - the trouble is the medical model is highly profitable and so the disorder mentality propaganda is literally everywhere. The Dopamine hypothesis was disproven decades ago but has been used to sell people into the broken brain in need of drugs business model.
