Unfortunately people are always quick to judge parenting skills. As long as your baby is fed, clothed, happy and healthy who cares what strangers on the internet think. Listen to the people who genuinely know you, and your paediatrician. You’re doing great!! ❤️

Love this video, it’s so real. I love how you edit Matt, because you show us who you are together and it’s one of the main reasons why you’ve got a loyal fanbase. Authenticity is the way to go cause we can relate to it more and be even more inspired by it. Also I agree, no spanking children! It does nothing good for them it’s such a useless tool to train a child. The best tool is your words and attention to help the children grow, just like how God is to us.❤️🙏🏾

"No one suffers from this so something must be wrong with you", to find out 10 years later its super common in young folks too, not just older folks. And both male and female can be forced to deal with this.

I think the Matt pushing Abby postpartum doesn’t have to be a bad thing. My husband was like Matt and if he wasn’t our babies would never have slept in their own room and I would’ve just stayed home all the time because it was easier. It was good to get out, even if it was chaotic. And so thankful my hubby implemented the “no babies/kids in our bed/our room” because as he said, it’s important to be husband/wife because we were husband/wife first and if we are connecting then we can be better mommy/daddy.

My husband and I will probably have mostly girls😂😂 on both sides girls are very common. My younger sisters have kids and I have three nieces, another niece on the way and one nephew😂😂 Parenthood is never easy and the first week is so tough. I love being a mom but it’s so mentally draining at times😅 it’s nice to have support because it really does take a village to raise a baby!

When you're ready to get a dog, please don't buy from a breeder!! There are SO many dogs in shelters that need a good home! Also purebred dogs have way more health issues and shorter life spans over mixed breed dogs. Don't shop, adopt!

just want to put out there about the lazy parenting notion about spanking, its not necessarily true. My mom tried all kind of lesser consequences with me, and child me had absolutely no hecks to give about anything lol. It was literally the only thing that worked for me. How she did it though was explain to me why what I did was wrong, why I was getting the consequence, and always insisted on giving me a hug after. So its not like I was just getting hit by my parents in a moment of anger. Some kids need it. I was one of them. P.S. I grew into a healthy adult and I love and respect my parents very much. :)

When I had my first child. I thought how could I love a second one as much as this one... Now I just had my third and my older two are 6 and 4. And I already know I wanna have a 4th or 5th 😏😏😏 so much looooovvee❤

Love that you talked about your feelings postpartum. I think a lot of people feel this way and then they feel guilty bc they obviously love their child. But your hormones are going all over the place and it is a transition of who you were before and who you are now. but it’s beautiful and now you have a beautiful family that will continue to grow 💗

I'm 44..I had 4 kids. I was just like you all when I was your age and I was a young mom. I got 2 kids already graduated college and 2 on the way. You are doing great. Don't pee in the shower (standing up) Abby. If you must, squat while you pee. I just found out that peeing while standing can cause bladder issues for women.

Like we all have different opinions on what it actually means to be good parents, even the parents themselves sometimes (that's why there's the sweet word - talking). It's not like there's a definition, and as long as you keep your baby safe, happy, healthy and loved, I wouldn't see the point of criticizing someone. Everyone has a different style of parenting (that's why I always ask my neighbor tons of questions before I take her little daughter to play/babysit or simply when I'm not sure if the little one is allowed to do that or if there's anything I should know in general). Also, every child is different, therefore they might require different style of parenting methods...? Based on my poor experiences from observing my neighbor with her daughter and aunt+onkel with my cousin❤

i see a lot of pro-life couples say they'll adopt and it never feels genuine and they never actually go through with it, but i can see the love in yalls eyes when you mention adoption. some lucky kid is gonna get you guys as parents one day, praise the Lord!

I will say this and many may disagree on the privilege thing. You both were born in a household with both parents. Y'all waited until y'all finished high school and waited to have a baby after you were married to have a baby. Y'all followed the correct way to do better in life. As a parent you’ll get judged no matter what you do, as a parent with an almost 6 year old my best advice is ignore it all. They aren’t worth your time. Your parenting styles differ to everyone else. Ignore them.

Hey, I would encourage you to look into a pelvic floor therapist. Peeing while sneezing/coughing isn't actually "normal" after baby. Pelvic floor therapy can help reverse that!

i just had a baby and shes 1month old. still dont want another one yet lol delivered her in 15 min lol epidural half worked.. ring of fire not fun and theres like 3-4 stages of labour pain.

When I was 20 yrs old I had my first child a beautiful baby boy. I always wanted a child but not until I was in my latte 20s so I was very surprised when I found out I was, I even went to hospital twice, first time they said I had the flu and second time the finally took my urine and I was definitely pregnant. But when I found out the mother in me just came out. I started watching what I ate which I always ate right because I was very active in softball, basketball, tennis my favorite, and jogging around my seventh month I quit doing as much but I never had to buy maternity clothes until my mom went bought me a shirt with baby on it and a pair of extra small maternity jeans but I didn’t wear them much, shirt I wore few times, I gained 23 pounds with my son and I was all baby. U can still have fun and exercise specially walking while ur pregnant it’s good for u and baby unless u have different orderers from ur doctor. But ya mother hood came very natural for someone that wasn’t expecting it. I think Abby demands to much from her husband every time I watch a video most of time Matt has the baby and as my sons mother I took my son everywhere with me, doctor appointments, work out, everywhere. I never made my husband change a diaper unless he wanted to, I never made my husband get up with him all night, at four months I noticed my son was always hungry and my son had a great pediatrician very smart man and he told me to add a little cereal to his bottle so I did and it worked great, than when he was teething I would wash my hands and rub his gums not real hard but with little baby Origel I took my finger and rub his gums to help push the teeth in that was hurting him. Like someone else said make shore little ones dry, feed, nice warm bath before bed, and if ur baby still seems hungry after feeding them make shore talk to your pediatrician. But ya I think Matt does way to much, I know he’s the father and it’s great for him step up and help but not get up with ur baby feed that is a bonding moment between mother and child and mother needs do as much she can with baby for that bonding time, not pump and go back sleep and let dad do it get ur lazy but up bond with ur child. Also Matt is always caring baby around, my son lived on my hip, and start out with a sleeping Routine, it’s hard at first but they get use to it, also I could never just put my baby in another room and go to sleep ya they have monitors but it’s not the same the baby first couple months wants hear mommy’s heart beat and roll up into a ball close to mom, so give baby those first few months it always gets them use to sleeping habit and with everything really. But I just think Abby puts a lot on Matt or than father should be doing, because baby wants to feel like he’s still n whom for little why there is nothing wrong with that, I just think if they would have done this he wouldn’t have cried so much and they wouldn’t have been so tired all time. Baby wants mommy first couple months u know. Matt u r one good man and great father, Abby acts scared sometimes or lazy. When I was there age it was nothing to get up with my child I was more like Matt. Also I wouldn’t let my baby on a plane, out of my sight or sleep alone. He wants to be close mommy just like he was in her belly feel safe. Taking them on a plane messes up there routine also and they r to same it could dramatize them or make them sick. Abby’s always talking about jet legged how she think baby feels. Just trying help some pointers, u r both great parents and ur baby boy is beautiful.
