ALSO Emma and Ellie are used to sharing space, maybe not bedrooms , but yes bathrooms, they shared bathrooms in all the other homes except the previous one. SO it doesn't bother them to share again

The house is phenomenal and like you said, the view is enough on its own. I think alot of the comments come from the younger audience who don’t understand that sometimes the BEST outcomes come out of working for certain goals within your life like REMODELLING a home to make it how you want it. I personally love y’alls new home. & I absolutely love watching people turn their house into their dream home. Putting work into a home is what makes it YOUR home. Yeah some people like buying an already perfect dream home for them but watching your dream home come to life is definitely something that plays a huge role in how homey it feels, plus the location & view is just amazing.

a home is what makes someone feel safe and a place where someone see’s themselves growing old. looks do not matter, if it’s livable and comforting that’s all that matter. when I saw those comments on people’s ‘opinions’ I was struck, because at the end of the day it’s not anyone else’s home but YOUR FAMILY’S. i’m so glad you guys found your home, it must be so comforting. and I can’t wait to see the renovations. also so happy that stitch has a little friend :)

it is also crazy how people call the house ugly, when it’s literally a house. not all houses have white cabinets and stainless steal appliances. you guys would be surprised how many houses look the same, because it’s a HOUSE. it is not an art gallery

My favorite house was my childhood home that was on the water. It was a smaller house but I wouldn’t change it for the world. The memories made, the parties and gatherings and the humongous pool we had right on the water. It was simply the best. The home was cozy, warm, inviting, and also had boats and jet ski’s. It was the LIFE. It doesn’t matter if random people on the internet don’t like YOUR home. It is YOUR HOME. Enjoy every minute of it, so happy for you all. 🎉🎉

What the heck is wrong with some people, they just aren’t happy unless they are complaining or putting someone else down. I think your house is great, and it will look absolutely amazing when you remodel it. People say our house is 'too small its literally the right size for us,its only me, my mom & my brother. We have our own space, our own rooms, ect. .. its a perfect fit for us!! We love it still. We've been here for 1 year already & it still feels like we've just moved in.

When my parents purchased their home it was like yours, needed some work here and there but for them it was perfect because of the location and view. My parents have renovated it so much and it’s now better than new builds in my town. Things can always change in a home, not everyone’s view of a “perfect home” is the same, but we need to respect one another’s space. Be happy for them on their accomplishment and not be rude because you don’t see the vision. We’ve all seen Heather’s creativity, so there’s no reason to be rude and question their decision. Be kind and cheer on others in their accomplishments in life. Let’s be kind and respectful to one another to make this a happier place. ❤️

I don’t think people realize that no matter how much money you put into a house, it doesn’t make it a home without a certain feeling. When you find your HOME, you just know, everything starts to click. Doesn’t matter if you plan to renovate it, you realized the potential, you fell in love with it when you saw it. You saw yourself in it for the future. That is YOUR HOME. No one can take that feeling away from you guys. Keep doing your own thing in your new home!

I hardly ever comment on videos now days but just wanted to put this out there. they didn't chose this house to make their viewer's happy they chose it because it fits what they wanted in a house. Yes it may be smaller than their old house and in need of some updates the view is beautiful and love the pool. As a viewer for several years I can tell they all love their new house and I wish them many years of happiness in their new home can't wait to see all the decorating and updating videos in the future. Enjoy the new home and ignore all the hatters.

I have never had my own bathroom as a kid, nor did my parents build me a tiny home on their property at Emma’s age. I know she is very appreciative of that. I would have loved my own bathroom as a kid, but a lot of kids don’t, and it’s fine. I think it’s wonderful that you found the home you feel is home to your family! And I am especially excited to see this house be transformed. I know the end result will be absolutely beautiful because Heather has that vision and knows what to do. I’m amazed how anything Heather and Marc touch, turns out great. You did such a beautiful job with your previous home and it has given me some great ideas.
