Commenters need to listen and not just read the headline or first 2 minutes. Ade and Gareth both got to the sensible conclusion that intersex with xy should be excluded from female boxing. Heres my question...are there are male boxers without xy? I.e. could that rule make it more unfair without knowing the details?

This is much more complicated if she has Sywer syndrome and that is an if ! According to science she is actually technically a female with a vigina felopisn tubes and under developed gonads that are inside , Sywer syndrome causes a genetic malformation in the Y chromosome which while women don’t have Y chromosome people with this desease have a mutated version of a Y chromosome due to a genetic disorder and science recognises this disorder as females , they can get pregnant with some medical support , They don’t naturally develop have breasts but have vaginas , they also don’t produce eastrogen female hormone , so it is very complex, most people with this due to having vaginas don’t work out there is anything wrong until they reach puberty, She certainly has a massive advantage, but I don’t think it is her fault. More investigation needs to be done on this.

You two are talking about chromosomes, but if you do some fact checking, it has not been verified that Khelif is intersex, has DSD, or has XY chromosomes. None of those things have been verified. And most reputable fact checking websites will say that if you look them up. She was born a woman, as was Lin Yu Ting.
