4023 is the first of the second batch A-City trains in service. 12 trains (4023-4034) were purchased and will gradually enter service in preparation for the Gawler Line re-entering service after its electrification (It is currently serviced by a mix of Electric and Diesel trains).
If you listen carefully, the motor sounds a little bit different to the previous batch (4001-4022)
