Thanks , but as usual the subtitles flash by too quickly for those who are completely unfamiliar with the area., unless thy are some kind of speed reading champion.
@Jamie Hi Mate , this is bad , but Great people like you will keep it beautiful place , and about the drugs , I think it is the deadly pandemic all over the world before Covid pandemic , but no one talk seriously about it !! Cheers
I born there in '44---- but I got out fast---went to Sydney----lot of serial killers in Adelaide---one of em ran the kids slippery slide at semaphore carnival in 1960s---name of Crease---newsreader -Kevin on TVs chanel 9's dad he was---but Kevin nice-- ---killer never got caught------but town got 2 good pie carts
It wasn’t Kevin Crease’s son, it was Rob Kelvin’s son - Richard Kelvin, yes his killer was caught and still jailed today Bevan Spencer Von einem - was sentenced in 1984 to a minimum 24 years jail, later increased to 36 years for the murder of Richard Kelvin, and the rest of the murders they got away with. I’ve just done the math.. the 36 years was expired in 2020, but I highly doubt he would get parole ever!! The cold case was opened in March 2008 with a MILLION DOLLAR 💵 REWARD and immunity (including anyone who may have been an accomplice or have knowledge of the murders) available for anyone who provides information leading to a conviction. And it was a pedophile who worked at the slide at Semaphore beach 🙂 Adelaide is full of pedophiles - same as everywhere else..
Glad to see the back of you. You can have Sydney I resided there for a while and came back to Adelaide to LIVE. Unless you think traffic jams are a good thing.
Glad them early buildings with their intricate ornamental facades are gone. All replaced by cold concrete blandness totally void of any features. Good job..
1:18 looks the same to be but now in colour! lol Adelaide really needs to grow from a sleepy city of 1.3 million to at least 3-4 million by the middle of the century if it wants to remain relevant. Just look at Perth, set to be a city of 3 million by 2026, and over 5 million by 2050.
If you want to be stuck in a 1980s timewarp then by all means keep things the same. But I dream of a time when my Adelaide can become synonymous with great cities like Sydney, Paris and Tokyo. It is always better for the economy too the more we grow and become more prosperous. South Australia could be a great place, not the hole it was 30 years ago and the stagnation it has been going through for years that prompted the Federal government to try upping its defense spending to give a slice of that industry to SA. Bloody ridiculous mate. When will Adelaide stand on its own 2 feet and be more productive.
No way!!!, it's not Sydney and it's not trying to be, no thanks, it could grow a bit more to 2 million but not bloody 3 !!, Not for generations away anyway, and quantity doesn't always equal quality, Adelaide has a lot to offer now, and rapid population growth doesn't always equal better quality of life, Melbourne used to be good but now it's turning to crap. Go live in Sydney or Melbourne if you don't like it.
